is there a rescue cost if you have to use the SOS button and rescue personell is dispatched? Thinking if kids push the button

It depends on the area, some SAR’s charge a fee and I think they should. Many are comprised of volunteers who leave their place of employment and families to come help. It costs money to mount a rescue and get out the door. It doesn’t cost less because it’s an “accidental trip” of your device.
