I bought this brand, because I am so tired of everything I buy being made in China and I look for other countries besides China if not American made. I’m so happy I did. I used them the first week I bought gem and I cut 3 cypress trees that were growing over my flower beds and blocking the sun. They cut so well. I have small hands and it’s no problem for me at all. I started cutting g much bigger branches than I should have, but they still cut right through. They leave a smooth clean cut too! I love them and will buy another pair this summer to have ready for the fall. Don’t forg wet them outside in the weather like I did or you’ll have to clean them up asap or they’ll rust. Good luck. I liked them so much, I started cutting too many trees and bushes in my yard and my husband had to stop me or I would regret it.

Just got these pruning shears and I already love them! They are lightweight, easy to use and very sharp. I was buying another well known brand but found that they got dull and lost function quickly, and so was buying new pruners every year. I have a feeling that these Japanese steel pruners will last a long time and stay sharper longer with a little care. These would be good if you have arthritis in your hands.

I’m so glad I purchased this. I have been looking for something like this for so long. All the others I purchased were hard to use, hurt my hands, weren’t sharp enough or just didn’t work. THESE. ARE. PERFECT! I have arthritis and I was able to cut the weeds in my mint garden with ease without damaging my mint. And…they are easy to clean. I highly recommend them!

These sheers are a must have. They are a little smaller than normal, which is fine for me as I have a small hand. Blades are sharp and they make a clean cut on the plant and even cut through some thicker branches. Love these.

Extremely well made hand pruners for the serious gardener. They are worth spending the extra money. At the first cut, you will realize these are different than the "best seller." They are very sharp and ergonomic in your hand. The closure system is a great deal better than others out there. I bought them for me as my existing one kept popping out the return spring. My wife got hold of the new ones. So, I am left with her dull model or my flying return spring. We will own another pair of these excellent Japanese made pruners shortly.

Used these shears last weekend. They fit comfortably in my grip, are very sharp and easy to use, cut through branches up to 15mm easily. I am very happy with the purchase.
