Runs perfect!
I put this on a 2002 Honda Recon 250. I didn't have to make any adjustments. It runs excellent and even idled perfectly. I used my old slide as I was just going to see if the carb was any good, I ended up leaving it in so I didn't have to switch the throttle cable. Only issue I had is the fuel inlet on the carb is 5/16 and the fuel line is about 3/16. I just used one of those small engine fuel filters that accommodates different size lines. The ones you can trim off the smaller sections if you don't need them. I then used a piece of 5/16 fuel line from the filter to the carb. Had to reroute the line a bit so the line didn't get kinked. Very easy install. I am 100% satisfied. I have a Zoom Zoom brand on a different atv. Although it does run, it doesn't run very well. So I was a bit worried about trying another aftermarket carb. When it arrived, I took off the float bowl just to see, and was surprised to see the quality of the parts inside the carb. Fit and finish were excellent. Machining looked excellent as well. This particular carb worked perfect for me. I am 100 % satisfied. Especially for $25 for the entire carb.

Very nice
Perfect fit and replacement was very easy. Just watch how you take the old one off and put this one back on the same way. May need to watch a YouTube video on getting the throttle cable back in place but excellent carb and can’t beat it for the money.

JUNK!! dont waste your time and money
im calling this carb JUNK!! ordered end of june and havent even ran a full tank of fuel and the float isnt even shutting the fuel off so its leaking out the vent not to mention having a cross threaded bolt on the top that i just noticed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Good little carburetor, but check position of the hoses on the carb before installing.
I installed this on my 2002 Honda Recon 250 ES ATV and the carburetor made it run like a new machine. I had rebuilt the old carburetor, replacing jets and gaskets and cleaning the insides as best I could. I was never able to get it dialed in to run like it should. After I installed this carburetor, I only needed to adjust the idle screw slightly and it runs great. Don’t hesitate spend just a little more on this carburetor than the cost of a rebuild kit. It would have saved me a lot of time. I did notice another review stating they needed to reroute a couple of the lines on the carburetor, and when compared to my original one, I noticed I needed to do the same. Take a look at the hoses and compare before you install the new one. Other than that one complaint, I am happy with the quality and price of the carburetor. It seems solid and operates as expected. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn’t have to reroute a couple of the hoses.

Best one
Don’t buy from anyone else. Get this brand - almost perfect setting from the box - works great - best aftermarket carb ive ever bought - will be buying for other four wheelers just to put up when they’re in need.

Purchased for 2001 Honda Recon 250
Purchased this for my 2001 Honda Recon 250. My old carburetor had bit the dust. Fixed my idling problem. Only issue was one of the fittings for the fuel line was bigger than the original one.

Replica makuni which worked on install but comes with a few issues . Replaced the original on a 2000 trx250 . Carbs are visuallt identical looking other than a few things. The two fuel lines were attached to spigots wrong and needed to be reversed. Refer to your original carb when swapping to ensure they properly routed the attached fuel lines NOTE* another buyer has also noted the same issue. The other issue is the secondary fuel line spigot is shorter than the stock carb. Refer to yellow circle on attached picture. There is no rib and spigot being shorter, it is very difficult to securely attach the fuel line with the lock wire. I see it as a definite flaw and It is a downfall to purchasing this carb that the spigot is too short. The included slide seemed ok but there is a snap clip inside holding the needle in place that popped easliy out and seemed a bit sketchy as it relies on the slide spring to hold it in place. Fortunately the original makuni slide fit perfect in this carb and the orginal cap screwed on perfect allowing me to just unscrew and switch slide cap and cable to this carb . Atv did fire right up after a couple revolutions of the starter. Purrs like a farking kittin. I Scored this off warehouse for 30 bucks. I Will rebuild the original makuni and swap back when ready tho. Hope this helps sum dudes out there

I wrote a complaint to the company and no response. The throttle cable threaded cap that goes on top of the carb is way too big and it did not come with a cable.

The factory throttle cable doesn't fit it and there's cheaper carbs that come with a cable, fool me once
