Does this have two spearate bases clamp and round base?

Yes. They are two separate attachments. The clamp for tables and the stand to use more like a table lamp.

High pitched Noise..!? Seriously annoying I hate having to go to the trouble of returning:(

Mine has no noise. It works perfect. I don’t know where the noise with gum from but mine has no noise whatsoever.

Does the magnifying glass work or not? khay has confused me on the order

It works if you hold the object up to the magnifier. The neck of the lamp won’t bend close enough for table work. I am satisfied with the lamp while working on diamond painting

The magnifying glass is not adjustable. It’s 800 times magnification it’s not adjustable. There’s nothing adjustable on the thing other than the lights himself. It’s a pretty nice light. I use mine all the time it’s super bright. The magnifying glass is 800 times will it normally is
