I have the 12 oz size in blue. Beautiful travel mug. I am impressed with the quality. I definitely like the ceramic interior; easy to clean, holds heat longer, doesn’t stain. If I used it while driving it would not be as easy. I would use the splash guard and just set the lid on it so I wouldn’t have to use both hands to uncap it. Has a very comfortable edge for sipping. Definitely like it.

Pros: Attractive simple minimalist design. Fits car cup holder. Splash guard insert works very well: Can drive with cover off and liquid does not splash nor get cold. Cons: Only one! I ran a thermal efficiency test by filling it with boiling water. The next morning (over 12 hours later), I found the lid almost impossible to remove. I'm not exaggerating. I had to wear rubber palmed work gloves in order to get a tight enough grip on the cover to remove it. Removing the lid was all but impossible. What happened: I believe the boiling water created enough pressure inside the vessel to force the lid to become cross threaded. Under normal use this has not occurred, so I don't believe this presents a real problem; but yes the lid locked up and I almost couldn't get it off. The cover lock up issue is the only reason I didn't give this mug a 5 star rating. In fact, I like the mug so much that I ordered the 16oz version to accommodate 12oz beverages plus ice.

Really happy with this mug, I was torn between this and the Fellows Everywhere mug, but that being a little wider than this one put me off. Glad I picked this one, size is great and easy to get my small hands around. Let's things warm very well, the odd splash guard actually works pretty good. No steel mug taste, coffee the way it's meant to be. The liner is very thin, like paint - hopefully it'll be durable and last, unlike that heated mug that had the flaking liner (hi there Ember). I haven't had it long enough to answer that yet. Some have commented that the top is plastic, yup, it is but it feels like a good quality plastic, not cheap junk. The plastic is a good choice, it screws on and off quietly with plastic on metal. My further mug had a metal lid, and the metal on metal sound screwing it's in or off was terrible. No way to open it on a meeting without everyone glaring. This one is quiet, very nice. The thin lip is ideal for sipping and enjoying coffee - great taste and feels good too. Added benefit is no coffee drip down the side like thick ceramic mugs with rounded edges. My only gripe isn't with the fantastic mug, but with the packaging. It's a plastic bag. That's it. It was shipped in it's plastic bag, in an Amazon bubble envelope which offers a little protection but not much. Nothing else protecting it. I was working at my desk when the Amazon delivery person dropped it at the back door. I do mean dropped it too, I heard the metal on stone sound at my desk and cringed - knowing exactly what that sound was - new metal mug landing on the flagstone next to the door. Yup, nice dent in one side. Nothing like a brand new mug with a dent. First world problem, and the mug seems to work fine keeping things warm. I'd like another, this one for my home office and another to leave at my company office. I'm hesitant to order it though, knowing it ships with so little protection. I know I could complain and return this one for another, but that seems wasteful when it still seems to work, just doesn't look as good as it should. Don't want to be wasteful.

It's expensive but is very durable (has held up after a hard drop), and filter lid design is genius, because it locks in heat remarkably well, will prevent splashing, and will catch large tea leaves. I love the clean modern design. It is easy to clean with a bottle brush. Perfect for taking my morning cup of coffee on the road.

I purchased this since I needed a smaller mug to use at my desk. It's pretty nice. The size is good. It fits the cup holders in our van very nicely, and is narrow enough to be comfortable to hold when drinking. I find it to be unobtrusive on my desk, and the green color is nice. There is a removable splash guard. This clips in securely, and works quite well to minimize accidental splashes. The lid screws on, and is watertight when fully tightened. I only tend to leave it on when I know I'll not be drinking for a while though. It's insulated, and this works as expected. With the lid off, and splash guard on, it keeps my tea & coffee comfortably hot for at least an hour, and it'll keep things cold / cool for several. (It probably keeps things hot longer, I seldom take more than an hour to finish a hot drink though, so haven't really tested this).

Llegó perfecto, un día antes de lo previsto por Amazon. Ya no traen la fundita negra de los anteriores pequeñitos, venía protegido por una bolsita transparente de plástico, pero no me importa. Es difícil rayarlo, hay que hacer un poco de presión. Ojo, que sí se abollan si se caen al suelo desde cierta altura (tuve un accidente con el primero que compré), pero sólo afecta a la carcasa exterior. El revestimiento cerámico interior del compartimento de acero, ni se inmuta. El termo es precioso, es absolutamente estanco y utilísimo. Éste es especial para infusiones si deseas separar el saquito con hierbecillas, especias, té, jengibre, o lo que quieras añadir, del líquido que viertas caliente o frío. Por poner alguna pega a los Fellow Carter, la cerámica interior retiene los olores y sabores de los líquidos/infusiones con gusto muy marcado. Yo acabé comprando uno sólo para el agua, otro para el café con leche y éste último para las infusiones. Porque por más que los fregaba no salía del todo el aroma del líquido anterior. Pero todo lo demás es absolutamente perfecto: el redondeamiento de la boca, que hace fácil y agradable beber por él; el tacto, el aspecto, el colorido y las 12 horas de isotermia, bien sea de frío o calor. Son adorables al tacto y muy ergonómicos. Estéticamente perfectos. Muy minimalistas, pero muy chic! El rojo de éste último es más bonito y luminoso en las fotos publicitarias (pero he descubierto que las cámaras no reflejan su rojo real con fidelidad, lo aclaran bastante incluso con poca luz ambiente). Contad con que es 3 ó 4 tonos más oscuro que en las fotos, pero es precioso igualmente. Fijaos si me gustan estos termos que éste ¡¡¡ya es el quinto de la familia!!! Absolutamente recomendables.

Perfect volume, keeps the temperature for relatively long time, the splash guard works perfectly. And I like the color a lot.
