I love these recipe card protector!

There's not a recipe card or a page in my cookbooks that doesn't have my cooking splatters all over it. Yes, I'm a splatterer. If I'm lucky, it's just flour. There's times I've spilled butter, oil, milk and a few other things so the ingredients on the card are not as clear as they once were all those years ago. Thick Card Stock . While I was looking as the old sad and splattered cards, I had an epiphany......recipe card protectors. I bought these card protectors and they have saved my new recipe cards many times. The only adjustment I had to make was to take about 1/4th of an inch off the end to make it fit in my new recipe box. I used a paper cutter to keep the edges straight and uniform (make sure you cut the open end and not the closed end). The cards still fit all the way inside them so nothing is hanging out. I am very pleased with these card protectors. All I have to do is wipe off my splatters and return the clean recipe card back to the box.

Love these! I have changed over from a notebook with protective covering for each recipe to 4'by 6' recipe cards in a recipe box. The recipe covers help keep the recipe card clean and free from spills. They fit my 4' by 6' recipe cards perfectly. They are pretty sturdy, not as all flimsy and easy to wipe clean or dry when things get a bit messy! This is my second set and I am very happy with them!

Wish I had bought these sooner! I have a recipe box with cards that needed protection. The ones that get used most - well, you know how that goes - they're at high risk of getting dirty while cooking. I also have some hand-written by friends and family that don't always get used as much but have a lot of sentimental value, e.g. ones in my grandmother's handwriting. This one pack provided plenty to fit all my recipe cards with many extras, and they fit perfectly (do check the size of your cards, mine were a different brand than this product, but the sizes given in this listing were accurate and they fit perfectly).

I am very pleased with these recipe card covers. They do not cling to each other, but slip nicely as I look through my recipe file. The sleeves fit nicely and will definitely protect my recipe cards over the years.
