My dual fuel generator that I run on propane uses a propane connection regulator. Testing my generator as I do every month, I discovered the propane connector had cracked and not usable. Bring it looked to be a replaceable part I contacted the generator company first and was told I had to order a $60 replacement assembly, no separate parts available. It was only in stock in Canada and I would have to pay shipping to the us and tax. So I checked Amazon and there was the exact part from different sellers for $8.99 +smaller tax. Having prime, it arrived in 24 hours and was easy to install and is working perfectly. Amazon came thru again. $9 instead of $70+!

I had to purchase a deep 18mm 6 point socket to complete my replacement. My 12 point socket slipped on the rounded corners of the brass. Has worked fine since I got it properly tightened.

I used this connector recently to turn my older style POL end to this QCC piece. It was very easy and the only thing I would recommend is a little thread seal/tape because you want a air tight seal. The quality of the material is the same standard you would see on a BBQ or other attachment. The threads on the male end were cut well and did not scrape or grab while threading it in. The rubber o ring seats well and the seal did not leak. I would recommend this product. Hope this review helps!

Our Weber Performer grill propane adaptor valve failed so we replaced it with this. It was the perfect fit and we have not had any issues with it in the last two months that we have been using it. It costs less than ten dollars so I can only assume it is more economical than a Weber replacement would have been.

I absolutely cannot believe that it took me so many years to install one of these ridiculously cheap little adapters. I always dreaded filling the propane container on my RV. It’s a real hassle to unscrew the threads on the old adapters. This thing takes five minutes to install enables you to screw the gas pipe on and off using only your hands. Some of the reviews mentioned the difficulty of screwing this into the regulator, but they did not figure out that you simply put an 18 mm wrench Over the end of the adapter and eight bolts right in. Best RV mod that I have made in years
