Very happy with this pair of daggers. I like MTECH knives, they are solidly built and at a great price. I can't believe the fit and finish on this pair of knives - very good. These daggers will definitely outlive me, and the probably the next owner too, as long as you don't use them as pry bars. I will not buy Chinese food products but I have nothing but respect for Chinese made weaponry. The steel in these two knives are top notch and full tang. Some other reviews complained about the scabbards, but I think they are just fine for now. If you were in the field everyday and this was on your belt, the sheath may start fraying soon, but for the infrequency I would have this on me, I don't have any worries. I may make a a leather clip on holster for them some day but I these sheaths will last a while. These are some seriously tough blades!

great value, came sharp, highly polished, and overall very nice. the brass pins are not flush with the handle, possibly catching on sheer cloth or hands when pressure is applied.

Honestly? I Have nothing bad to say about these blades. $30 for a set of two? Not a bad value at all. Mine came very sharp (not quite shaving sharp, I can touch that up), well-packaged, and in pristine condition. They are coated in oil, so you'll want to get some rubbing alcohol and a rag to clean them up, but other than that? Not a single complaint. They're a good size, good weight, tightly fitted, full tang, and quite well balanced. You could spend upwards of $150 on a similar knife from a higher end manufacturer and receive a product that's not quite as solid as these blades. Buy with confidence!I'm not sure what steel they use, they're stamped MT-20-03 stainless steel... I'm guessing that's equivalent to a 440a based on the price, which isn't a bad steel at all. Great corrosion resistance, good edge retention.

Made like a good kitchen knife but shaped like a dagger :) Edges and point came already sharp, but not razor sharp. It's pretty heavy but comfortable. Both sides of the ricasso have stamped or milled, and anodized information. MtechUSA logo on one side, "MT-20-03 - Stainless Steel - USA Design - Handcrafted in China" on the other side. "Handcrafted in China" is clear but almost invisibly small. Very attractive and quality blade for the money and perhaps regardless of price.

I made this purchase with the intention of making sure my son received one. I think the heft of the knives is very nice in the hand.
