I have been very impressed with the strength of these magnets. Honestly, they are probably the best I have ever used. They have no trouble at all holding large or even multiple items and they come with 2 different ways to attach them to whatever substrate they are going on. They have a quality double sided tape and also come with small anchors and screws in case you are attaching to wood, drywall, etc. Highly reccomend these as they have multiple uses and you will not be dissapointed in the quality, especially at that price point.

I rarely write Amazon reviews, but I needed to pass along a positive review for theses magnets. I’ve had several in the past, and these are absolutely the best “bang for the buck”. The magnets are very strong… strong enough to hold my full size XDM .45 without breaking a sweat. Yes, it’s recommended to use the screws for installation, but are you wanting a functional mount or a wall ornament? The only thing I wish these had is a thicker magnet for the purpose of getting your hand under the firearm, but - this is something I can get used to. These are strong…. Could two hold a rifle???

These magnets are very strong and hold up all my pistols with ease. The adhesive, as other reviews point out, is trash. I went into my safe two days after installing these and ALL of my pistols were dropped to the floor of it because they all became unstuck. I have some 3M heavy duty tape coming to see if I can strip the magnets of the stock stuff and use the 3M. If it doesn’t work then I guess I’ll drill into the safe because these magnets are worth it. I recommend buying these for the price, but either plan to use the screws, or throw away the adhesive strips and use better stuff. My safe is very climate controlled so it should have held fine.

I recently acquired the HEKAGURA Gun Magnet Mount with a 55 lb rating, and it has proven to be an invaluable addition to my firearm storage solutions in my vehicle. This magnetic rubber-coated holder is designed for handguns and is versatile enough for use in cars, trucks, walls, and desks. From the outset, I was impressed by the strength of the magnet. I installed it on the side panel of my Crosstrek's front console, and it securely holds my firearm, providing me with the confidence I need while on the go. The solid build of the mount ensures that my weapon remains safely in place, even during bumpy rides. Additionally, I have a secure vehicle lockbox cabled under the seat for those times I need to store my firearm and enter hazardous weapon-free zones created to only allow criminals and law enforcement to carry, leaving law-abiding citizens vulnerable. However, I did encounter one significant issue: the adhesive tape provided with the mount is inadequate. While the magnet itself performs exceptionally well, the provided tape does not offer the same level of reliability. I highly recommend replacing it with a stronger option like Gorilla, Scotch, or 3M mounting tape. If you rely on the included tape, you may find it difficult to remove once it's adhered, which can be quite frustrating. I realize that sounds contradictory to being weak, but sticking to the mount wasn’t the issue. In conclusion, the HEKAGURA Gun Magnet Mount is an outstanding product that offers exceptional strength and security for firearms. However, the inferior adhesive tape detracts from its overall effectiveness, which is why I deducted two stars. Despite this, I still wholeheartedly recommend this mount for its reliability; just be sure to invest in quality mounting tape for the best results.
