I what to say to everyone that say they can't get these cartridges to work, make sure that you remove the red and white stripe that stated DO NOT REMOVE on the bottom, once you do that, on the Black Cartridge ONLY, there is a transparent narrow stripe of tape on the bottom also, remove it. Now mildly wipe the bottom area off with a soft clothe on both cartridges and insert them into your printer, afterwards, your printer will tell you what to do next. Now you should be able to print your documents with following these steps. These ink cartridges work great in my HP Officejet 3850 Printer. Great value, worth buying!

Works well with my printer no problems.

The media could not be loaded. I gave 4 stars only because the cartridge set off an error code and would not work in my HP 5200. I performed all problem methods with no immediate success. I decided to leave the cartridges in the printer for a few days. I powered down the printer removed and then powered up and put the cartridges back in then the printer recognized them no errors and worked beautifully.

Affordable, Good quality and easy to use

I bought these about a year ago while i was in the midst of packing for a move. I wound up packing up my printer before i could install these cartridges and putting it in storage where it all sat for about a year. Fast foward about a year later, I've moved once again, but my new home accomodates all that i own, eliminating my need for a storage unit. After getting rid of my storage unit and bringing all my things to my new home, i unpacked my printer and these cartridges thinking I'd install the cartridges and be printing in no time at all....Newp. When I installed these cartridges, instantly a message popped up on my printer display saying "The indicated cartridges are not communicating with the printer". And while you can press "hide", you can not by pass this message. Meaning you can not print, not even a test page. After about 4 hours of trying to solve this puzzle, I'm irritated and have drawn this conclusion: no amount of removing these cartridges, reinstalling reinstalling these cartridges, updating the printer software, powering down the printer, removing power cord from printer, or any of the other things that google searches yeilded as potential solutions to this annoying problem, have yet to and likley will NOT work at all. So, I suppose ill be buying genuine HP ink cartridges, and my $50 spent here is a loss. So thanks for that!

Good value but have yet to use
