Alba Botanica Soothing Lavender SPF 45 Sunscreen

I've used this brand and type of sunscreen for almost six years. It's fantastic. Smells good, goes on easily, without leaving you a white mess. I'm really fair and as long as I reapply like a maniac, it works pretty well. I use it on my face an body, so I go through a couple bottles a year. My skin is also really sensitive and it doesn't give me any acne or rashes. The lavender may keep the bugs away, too. I never seem to have a problem with them. Or, maybe I they just don't like me.

Purchased this sunscreen for my vacation and I really liked it. It is very lightly scented non greasy cream and it soaks into your skin so well that you probably won't even notice that you have it on. A lot of sunscreens tend to sit on top of my skin, causing me to sweat and then have skin irritation for a couple of days after application. This product didn't do that. It left my skin feeling clean and with no irritation whatsoever. This is my new go to sunscreen and I will definitely be purchasing it again.

I am generally very sensitive, and I have a ton of allergies to boot. This has been the only sunscreen that I have been able to tolerate well for an extended period of time, doesn’t break me out, doesn’t burn, and doesn’t have a gross texture! It’s somewhat hydrating, and the scent is a little on the subtle side but nice and natural.

I picked this sunscreen up in a health foods shop in Puerto Rico and fell in love with the scent. I've mostly used it on my body, but it's been fine on my face, not making me break out or my eyes water. Seems to work decently well with some water resistance. I purchased another tube because the scent is outstanding. It's sunscreen I actually want to put on just because of the smell. Other than that, it's moderately thick and glides on easily.

I had initially bought this as everyday sunscreen from my face, but from the break outs I received within the next couple of days of using it, it was clear that I could not use it on my face. It is a very greasy sunblock but I know that it works - just not the best for keeping clear skin on the face. I now only use it on my body - specifically my arms everyday for when I drive. I'm trying to preserve my youth, you see. I love the smell of lavender and I must say that this sunblock has me smelling very dainty and clean and slightly floral for the whole day although the scent does not last the whole day, I don't end up smelling bad at all.

So glad I found Alba Botanica sunscreen pure LAVENDER a few years ago! This sunscreen smells great and feels silky smooth on my skin. It doesn’t feel sticky or smell like other sunscreens. I have a history of skin cancer, so wanted a nice smelling sunscreen, that felt like a moisturizer. This sunscreen fits the bill! I love it and hope you always keep it in stock! Thank you!!

I LOVE the scent of this sunscreen compared to most over the counter ones as it doesn’t have a “sunscreen” smell that usually bothers most. It’s not greasy and it goes on smoothly, not to mention it WORKS! Being at a sports meet many people asked to use it including men and children. Every single person loved it and it worked better than their sunscreen! It’s my new favorite! Highly recommend!!

I bought this for my 9 day trip to Mexico as I’ve used this brand before (the green tea one with yellow packaging). I was excited because I like essential oils a lot & then I started reading reviews mostly good but about a handful of people saying they didn’t like the smell or whatnot but I took a chance on it because I really really like essential oils and guess what? It was AMAZING. I love the smell and how it feels on my skin (I even use it on my face too) It’s a great sunscreen & a great smell so I guess don’t believe everything you read & try it for yourself!!
