I cannot stress enough how amazing this shovel is! I am experienced in landscaping and gardening and this is the best one I have ever used. The shape of the spade makes cutting through dirt, clay, weeds, and roots effortless. It’s very sturdy and made with quality materials. It is unlike any other spade or shovel on the market. I have gifted it to several other people and they cannot believe this shovel exists! The first one I purchased I have had for over 8 years! I couldn’t and wouldn’t work without it!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Best spade ever. Cuts through hard soil and roots to remove invasive shrubs and vines once and for all. Great for uprooting and dividing clumps of perennials. Comfy to use, lightweight but extremely sturdy. You definitely need this one!

Great shovel/spade! Wide enough for using your foot to dig, tapered and pointed at the end for easy digging. Solid construction. Highly recommended!

This shovel is amazing. I’ve used a typical pointed spade forever but saw a gardener review this one and had to try it. Worth the purchase. As a longtime gardener myself I appreciate that it’s lightweight with just the right handle length. It’s easy to shove into the ground and hoist plants when transplanting and great for digging fresh holes for new plants. Highly recommend.

This is my second of these shovels.I temporarily misplaced mine and immediately ordered another! I am 70 years old with back and hip issues. I just get nowhere trying to use a regular shovel, but this one is amazing! I can use it easily and while it doesn't hold much dirt at a time, it's just about all I can lift anyway. The pointy end is somehow just right for transplants, etc. and because of the great design and light weight, I even use it to dig large holes for trees, etc. I bought one for my granddaughter that lived in an area with extremely rocky soil, and it even worked well for her. Can't say enough good things about this tool. If you're a woman or older person, this thing is great.

This is an exceptional shovel. I don't go into my gardens without it. It is strong, a requirement in my silty clay loam soil, some of which is pure clay, and sometimes very rocky. I use it for weeding, planting, digging up plants, and dividing plants. The handle size is perfect for maneuverability and I can even use it whilst sitting on my weeding chair. It is also light enough to handle easily without breaking or bending, a first for me!

A gardener friend of mine has the teal shovel and she let me try it out while helping her in her yard. I thought it was great and easy to use. The next week I had to use the regular shovels here at home and realized how much harder they were to use and I wasn’t getting nearly enough done because it took so much longer. This shovel is very sturdy so you can really get it a lot to shove or pry up. The sharp pointed end slices right through roots! Also it’s not too tall and has a hand through handle so you can place it exactly where you want it and use one of the foot tabs to really get it down there. Worth every penny!

My sister recommended this spade for digging in clay. It has been everything she said it was and more. My garden is mostly clay and it cuts right through it easily. I also love the bright color as it doesn't get lost. It's perfect for digging up the horrible quack grass that is ubiquitous here.
