Nice Rod, Terrible Delivery Experience
When you order a fishing rod online, you expect it to deliver in a box. At least I do. But I guess Amazon has other ideas. When I got home after seeing the notification it had been delivered there is was on my porch, NO BOX, just the thin plastic wrapper that came on it. And yes, three or the guides were bent down to the blank. Somehow I managed to slowly bend them back up to the proper position without damage. You would think that a company that sells and ships as many things as Amazon does would do better than this. And I thought eBay was bad!I contacted customer service and they refunded half of the purchase price without hesitation.This rod has a great feel and finish and nice action. I am eager to put it to work.

Just what I needed.
Great light weight spinning rod. Excellent for long casting and strong backbone for bigger fish.

Poor shipping
I received the fishing pole and 6 of the eyelets were bent. Need to take better care during shipping or place fishing pole in a protective cardboard shipping container. These pole are designed by the factory to work aligned with the reel. I will never be able to reset to factory specifications. Do better!

Great PENN fishing rod.
We had one of this brand/model already which we loved (mated with a PENN reel). When the tip of another rod broke and before I could fix it, my wife ordered this from Amazon Prime and it arrived 2day and was in use that evening...it has landed 7 walleye on three trips to the fishing pier. Very funny rod, seems a bit stiff but is a medium action...casts terrific. It is a one piece so it does have a better feel, and at the Amazon price and free delivery with Prime, not worth chasing around. I'd recommend this as a $100 rod for $50.

Great rod for the price
Well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It's light without feeling cheap or flimsy. Great price for the rod. Balances well with the Penn 6500.

damage to rod guides
Every single line guide is bent to to the rod hopefully they dont breakOther than thank shipping was on time and seem like a great rod for the money
