Children need to be aware of whats really happening to our planet, the series is probably one of the most defining in documentaries that keep us aware of the alarming status of the environment. The book has beautiful art work and few photographs which appeals to both children and adult nature lovers. The text content is few but explanatory enough for children to understand and become future participants and contributors to healing our planet.

I bought this book to show my Year Six class as part of our work on Antarctica. They absolutely loved the layout and use of illustrations and photography. The test is informative and well-written. This would make a wonderful gift as it is a large book with wow-factor.
