TaylorMade M4 Drivers Mens

Good price, sounds nice and it added 30 yards to my drive.

This TaylorMade M4 driver was ordered as a replacement for an older (ancient) TaylorMade R9. The M4’s design gives a lower trajectory, lower spin ball flight --- the loft needs to be adjusted from 9.5 degrees to 11.5 degrees in order get a proper trajectory. The lighter 53 gram shaft gives a little more club head speed, and the Twist Face technology seems to rescue mishit drives. All in all, definitely an improvement over the R9. The M4 is now the gamer.

I bought this driver because I liked my old TaylorMade R-15 driver that I handed down to my son. My new M-4 hits longer and more consistent. It feels a bit heavier and more solid than my old R-15 which help slow my swing down and hit the sweet spot more often. This club is forgiving, you don't have to hit a perfect shot for good results. I can exceed 300 yards without swinging hard. Now I have the distance to drive greens on par 4s which is a good feeling when you step up to the tee box.

I’m 61 and still very strong and agile, this driver only works with strong impact. If that’s you, you’ll love it, if you’re older and slow swing, you’ll not get any benefits from this driver. But if you’ve got strength and speed it is a very long and accurate driver.

I needed a driver to play again, been not playing for years. Mainly for social golf these days. The cost was nice, good quality. Older tech but its all good Im not a pro, Ive hit expensive ones no improvement. Practice makes perfect. A single digit guy hit this at the range 300 yards easy. So its not the club its the skill level. Im not long off the tee at 58 yr old, bad hip & shoulders. If Im down the fairway thats great. So yeah I love this club for how I play.
