This table met all my expectations. It is very attractive and sturdy. It's so wonderful to have a way to seat 12 people in my small two bedroom house that we downsized to in our retirement. When it extends it is very stable and sturdy with absolutely no wobble. Contracted it makes a nice console. Now I just need to find nice looking stackable dining chairs.The table pieces came in two boxes. They were packed very well and nothing was damaged. One of the table top pieces was missing a threaded connector. I sent a message thru Amazon to the seller. The company is in Indiana so you aren't waiting forever for parts or help. They sent and entire new table top piece which was unnecessary because we could have just inserted the connector. Luckily we could insert the connector ourselves because the replacement top was severely damaged during shipping. This piece was packaged very poorly. Totally different than the original packing. But all worked out fine. We just took the threaded connector from the replacement top and inserted it into the original top and all was well.Assembly was straight-forward and the instructions were well written. It does take several hours to accomplish.The only thing I would suggest to the company is that they send you a heads up when they actually ship the table. Ours arrived a week or two earlier than estimated. This would have been a good thing except we were out of town. The boxes sat on our front porch exposed to the elements for a week as we had no idea they had been delivered. Amazon did not notify us. (It wasn't Amazon delivery) We didn't get prior notice and we were not expecting it yet. Luckily the packing inside the box was excellent and protected the table despite the cardboard box being saturated.I would definitely orer from them again.

We live in a small house without a dining room and this is perfect for dinners with friends!!Everyone is amazed when we show them and ask where we got it.We use a mix of chairs and benches to accommodate.And makes a great accent table for rest of time!

This table is well made! I don't have the space to have a large table out all the time, so this console table is PERFECT. The company was very responsive to my questions...It comes in 3 different boxes, and mine didn't come all on the same day. My husband is great at putting things together, but make sure you have the legs in the right spot. LOL He had to take it apart and re-do 2 legs with the openings. It took him a couple hours, but It's awesome, it's sturdy, and I LOVE it!

Comparing this with the transformer competition, for a start is a thousand bucks cheaper, but you lose a lot.This table is perfect for a home without children, the wood is MDF medium densities fiber board density (saw dust glued and covered with veneer) it looks beautiful but do to the MDF is not long lasting or children proof, the transformer is made with real wood, i try looking for veneer and couldn't find any.The sheets of this table are heavy but thin, the transformer sheets are a thick wood.This table has that all even perfect looking factory made, wood look.Transformer has different wood tones made by nature with knots and all its originality.This table while it still looks good it reminds me furniture from wal mart or target.It came with instruction but this are images of step by step what to do and no words, no reading.Assembling took my husband (he build our home) close to 1 hour. There is a lot of assembling going on and is one of the many but big difference with the competition, transformer tables arrive in a box, already assembled, you only cut the box and pull out the table and done.The expandable metal tracks, the hooks and lash, everything metal and part of the mechanics of this table are of much less quality to the ones the transformer are made with, they are not bad, they work fine and as expected but when put next to the transformer the difference is very obvious, the metal parts of the transformer are all thicker and stronger.The transformer has the big annoyance of you having to figure out what to do with it's 5 heavy wood leaves, this table is beautifully designed with a storage section for all leaves.The transformer either you find where to storage them or you pay 700 +tax +delivery, for a coffee table to storage them, in my case I don't even like their coffee table design so they get storaged in the garage and I pull them out for family gatherings.Overall this table is worth it, i don't want to pay the $1,000 + more, but I already have the transformer, this table is going to function as a small desk and will be use with the transformer in our next family gathering, kids are grown-up and the list of grand kids and 3rd generation of this family is growing.Also this table is made in Italy, although Italy laws allow companies to make their products in China, bring them to Italy for a 1 final touch (packaging, place a sticker, etc) and legally say is an Italian product made in Italy.Arrived incredibly well protected, the transformer table while designed and engineered in Canada is actually made in Vietnam.I do recomend this table, love its storage convenience and how much less expensive it is.Hope this help 🙂

Receive this beautiful Rustic Oak table in three different boxes-each one was packed beautifully very well protected with special plastic hinges for the corners- my husband just put it together and we are so pleased. The instructions are very simple. The hardware is very well-made. And fits together with such precision. It sits 10 people comfortably 12 if you have smaller chairs. We have a round glass table and only sits six comfortably, I’ve wanted to have bigger gatherings.
