So far really liking this knife!
First, I paid for this knife with my own money and got what was shipped. I have absolutely no connection to this company or to Amazon - No one but myself has seen this review until I posted. Please be assured my thoughts and impressions are just that; my own and unbiased.Call me surprised by the quality of this knife, and yes it is made in China with Chinese steel. Packaging was well done with the knife having a thin protective coat of oil and was wrapped in plastic with an anti-moisture packet. Fit and finish are very good, the grind of the edge even and well executed, the blade is properly and very securely fixed to the handle being straight and not canted, the grip and handle feel great and instill confidence even in my 2XL sized hands, the tip is straight, thin and pointy. Photos online show the good sized tang being about 3/4 of the handle length, and very well fixed. Any fears I had of "Just another cheap junky knife" have been absolutely obliterated. You get an overall feeling of sturdy quality, like it can do the job yet is very light and handles well. The sheath is very rigid and sturdy for what it is, the belt clip works very well and knife retention is simply excellent with a very positive, satisfying click. My sheath has a thumb ramp for easy knife removal and there is a drainage hole which can be utilized as a a fire starter blow tube. Again, everything so far is a definite thumbs up and I am impressed.Sharpness was pretty good upon arrival but using some Autosol metal polish on a strop brought out great shaving sharpness and a beautiful polished edge. I have not done any 'torture testing' and don't plan to; it's an everyday carry knife for me doing everyday kind of knife uses and so far has done very well at this task. I see many folks comparing this knife to many Morakniv knives and this really is not fair or even applicable - The grind is saber, the tip is very fine for fine cutting and I consider it a complementary knife to my Morakniv knives. Take both for camping for different tasks is how I see them. Both are excellent and will serve you very well for a very reasonable cost.I have added photos of my Morakniv knives to give perspective. The top green handled knife is a 511 model with a 2mm thick carbon steel blade and the bottom knife with the gray and black handle is a "Robust" model with a 3.2 mm wide carbon steel blade The Bacho knife is nothing but a rebadged discontinued Morakniv "Clipper" model, the forerunner to the companion series, same excellent Swedish Sandvik 12c27 stainless steel where the Bacho blade is 2mm vs 2.5 for the companion, and has a different texture on the grippy handle with a similar pattern and feel to the Ganzo 806. The Ganzo 806 blade is 2.3 mm and is a good slicer, especially with its grind.Any negatives? I do wish there was an OD green option over the forest green model, and I would like it to have a black sheath. Price could be a few dollars less to make it a super screaming deal, but still it is a very nice knife for the cost. So if you want a very good knife made well and of good enough steel that you can use everyday for everyday things here you go. I think it is a handsome knife that brings pride of ownership and if named something else probably could be sold for a lot more. If this review warrants an update I will. Thank you for reading and perhaps considering what I wrote in my review.

Great knife for the price!
I've got to say I was skeptical when I ordered this knife. I have a few Mora's and the palm swell on them make me feel like I don't have a good grip on them. This knife fit may hand perfectly, it is really comfortable with good texturing to keep you from slipping in wet weather. It locks in securely to the belt sheath, which is very similar to the Mora sheaths. The blade came very sharp and had even grinds for the length of the blade. Overall this would make a great fishing, utility or light bushcraft knife if you don't want to spend a ton of money or want to protect your more expensive blades. The only thing I wish it had was more thickness to the blade, maybe 3mm instead of the 2.5mm.

INCREDIBLE VALUE, put it up against anything out there IN ACTUAL USE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!
Something is VERY WRONG with the outdoor knife market. This knife is less than $15. I have owned knives WELL in excess of $700 and this is EVERY BIT as good. Nope that is NOT a typo. I think this shows how good marketing has become bc I will put this knife up against every one I have bought in terms of ergonomics, quality, blah blah blah - WHAT A COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!!!!!!!!! This knife is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I think the poor people, myself included who bought into the "" Full Tang " belief, which is complete garbage(Well over 100 splits batoning with this thing - no damage whatsoever LOL) and thinking we had to buy sharpened pry bars for a quality knife well, this thing proves it wrong. Hopefully more knives like this will help course correct the market (LOL not holding my breath - marketing is too good) but there is no sense in spending that much money for a tool meant to be abused. I will now not pay too much attention to the hype and instead listen more to people who ACTUALLY USE these things in the field . . . hunting guides(who recommended this btw), hunters, etc. Anyways I hope this helps someone hung up on trying to purchase a fantasy like I was and instead lets them see the truth. Good Luck and as always YMMV 😊

Truly expected to be unimpressed, but got a nice surprise.
I wasn't looking for another knife, but found this while looking for something else. The handle shape and blade shape really appealed to me and I figured for under $20, I could take a chance. My biggest questions are how the the edge and the handle holds up, but will find that out over time. I put an edge on it when I got it and it took a nice edge using my preferred sharpening techniques/tools. I sliced some dirty, seasoned ash and did a little carving with it and fully expected the edge to degrade to some extent with that use, but it did not. Definitely not a real test, but indicates it's worth testing further. I absolutely love the handle shape and the blade shape is perfect. The finish on the knife and sheath is flawless, with no mold flashing, not marks - impressive for a "cheap" knife. I own and use several custom "bushcraft" knives and a shoe-box full of Moras. I have high expectations of any knife, so I have to say that at this early stage, I am impressed with this one. They surely got a lot of features RIGHT and in the right combination of features as well. All that's left is to see how it does under normal outdoor use. I'm used to tool steels that hold an edge extremely well, but I also maintain edges during use, so we'll see how this one stands up. I'm not puncturing car doors and cleaving cinder blocks - I'm talking normal, sensible use. If this knife were made in one of the steels I'm familiar with and prefer, I'd have ordered two more already - and would be happy to pay proportionately more. Sandvik 12C27, 14C28, 1095 - any of the established, common and cost-effective steels would sell me in a heartbeat, but I need to live with the "new to me" 8CR14 in this knife. I'm not a steel-snob and don't need or want "boutique" steels, but I just don't know this one yet. The overall shape of both the blade and handle are very, VERY good.
