This long handed with short rake stem was just the trick for me needs. I have several large plumeria bushes that drop a lot of leaves. It's very difficult to clean the ground of the leaves and who knows what creatures (snakes) might be living under the bushes. Because this rake is not too wide it works perfectly. I also have several fruit trees in the yard that are dropping a lot of leaves right now as they become dormant for the fall and winter season. They are planted on top of a wall that I can't climb up on very easily. This rake worked great for removing the leaves and debri under these trees. Rake is sturdy and I love its long handle. The product is called a Deciduous Rake and it lives up to its name.

I love it because it is small but malleable and strong, it cleans all the leaves well and removes the dirt, it is perfect, I liked it so much that I bought two. My husband loved it.

I bought the 6 foot rake and it was too long, I’m 5’7. The good thing about this rake is you can take out a notch to make it shorter. It’s great for a garden and getting in between bushes but it’s not a yard rake. Very sturdy I have it a 4 star cause I wish it had more rake teeth. I think u can buy it with more.

Every gardener should also have this size (8-1/2") rake for use in their garden. Works great under bushes to retrieve dead leaves. After using hoe to loosening weeds, great to use this rake to avoid drip-line hoses. With the variable length pole, makes it even more versatile. Wish we had acquired years ago. I like this small rake very much. The pole length is great. The rake head is a very handy size and the tines are stiff, allowing one to really clean out leaves under bushes or even to scratch up the ground for grass seeding. HOWEVER, I just noticed that one of the yellow plastic pole connectors and the top yellow plastic peace are cracked after only two uses. Perhaps I screwed them down too tightly. I saw that another review reported that pole connectors had cracked. Unfortunately, I can't find the replacement parts.

Love the sturdiness of the handle and the length can get into small areas easily.

I got this rake for the length and because it was available as a less wide version to clean the pine needles off of my greenhouse and shed. I wish they sold additional sections as with my height I could use one more. I can stretch and still get most of the needles off without having to climb a ladder. I will use it in my flower beds too but getting the needles was the primary reason. Seems sturdy enough for what I need.

I live in an apartment complex but do have a small amount of grassed area, where the kids popped confetti cannons on NYE, I had significantly underestimated the mess they would make lol. I was looking for something that wouldn't break easily (tired of throwing money away on easily breakable items and contributing to excessive garbage), wasn't excessively large (my grass area is very small) and had tines (I think that's what the rake teeth are called) that were close enough together to get large paper confetti. This fit the bill and was everything I hoped it would be. This rake was surprisingly sturdy. Great value, I would purchase again.

Don't know why I waited so long to buy one of these little rakes. It's great for getting in and around plants to clean up without disturbing them. So much better than trying to manoeuvre the big rake.
