Womens Modern Straight Jeans (Available in Plus Size)

I did not know what to expect when I ordered these jeans because I had a love/hate relationship with my Levi 314s that finally died after 10 or so years. The price for these new jeans was well worth the try and to my surprise, THESE JEANS ARE PERFECT! (I just ordered more!) I am 55 and do not like being overweight (I am working on weightloss) but these jeans really fit me well right now. I am 5'5" / 255 lbs and have always been stuck between Petite pants and jeans being too short and Average pants/jeans being too long (even at my appropriate weight). These jeans sit just right over my shoes and do not hit the floor. I wear my Ariat and Dansko clogs with jeans in winter. (Too hot here for jeans most of the year.) The straight leg fit is flattering and they sit at my belly button -- which is high waisted in my opinion even though they are labeled mid-rise. These jeans stay up! My 314s and I constantly battled as the waist would always slip and I'd yank them back up into place. These new jeans are soft but are still denim, look like denim, and the waist band is comfortable. These jeans are my favorite. They are not the classic denim material Levi’s from the 80s Gen Xers loved; they are the more forgiving with plenty of stretch and comfort we are looking for now. They look and feel amazing. The jeans are a good quality and the fit was exactly as described. I have bought two pair, my only complaint is that Amazon sold out my size 14 in other colors, but will be watching to buy more.

Great quality and great fit. Very comfortable (there is a taper from the hips to the waist so they actually "fit"). The long is perfect (I'm 5'9") to wear with dress boots. Bought another pair in a different color because I liked them so well. No shrinkage either.

I absolutely love these jeans. I am about 5'6" tall and 170 lbs. My measurements according to the size chart say I should wear a size 14, but they run large so I got a size 12. Well, the size 12 is also a bit too big, so I have to wear a belt with those. This is my second pair and I got a size 10 and they fit perfectly. I would certainly call these high waisted as they are just below my belly button. For myself, I wouldnt consider them too long in the legs, but they do cover the tops of my shoes. They are comfortable jeans overall and very sturdy. My first pair only began getting holes where my thighs rub after about 8 months of wearing them almost daily. I will just add a patch and they still have plenty of life. My pair of jeans from Old Navy were unwearable after a month, for comparison. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the size discrepancy.

Size 14suggested by AI and the fit perfectly. Usually wear 16. The are a little long but are well-made, sturdy material. Good value. Would buythem again. Stretch is just right. Very comfortable

Love the feel. They seem to be of good quality. The fit is perfect. I usually have problems with the length but I ordered 8 long, but they fit great. I feel like they are better than some of the others I have ordered in the past and the color is nice. Good buy. Sizing are true to size.

Sorely disappointed in the poor quality!!! I guess like everything else, Levi’s quality is declining. Having grown up in the 501 and Silver Tab era, Levi created a standard for which all other jeans have been compared against. Now, they are just another pair of jeans that won’t last. If this is their “signature gold” product line, I think I will be off to find another brand. The fit is fine and the color is nice. True to size and fitted in the waist, hips and thighs, with a flattering straight leg transition. They are soft but the material is way too thin. The material is more like a pair of slacks than jeans. The pockets are dumb girl pants sized tiny pockets that cannot hold a phone and barely holds a small credit card sleeve wallet. When will manufacturers listen to women… we need real sized pockets so we can keep our stuff securely with us in public and our phones and wallets don’t pop out when we sit down! I am usually a high rater but I am very disappointed in the decline in quality of Levi so I would give these a 2.5-3 star. Since Amazon doesn’t give half stars I am begrudgingly rounding up. I will reevaluate after a few washings and if they do not keep up, the rating will go down. Bottom line… save your money and look for something more fitting for a “signature gold” product line.

I am 5"6 170 and I got the 14 short. They are plenty long enough, I am not tall or short so I can't imagine what really short people do about jeans because these almost touch the floor on me. I carry all of my weight in my stomach, if I didn't I could have easily sized down. These do have some stretch, and they are not the typical levi's heavy jeans which is exactly what I wanted. They are excellent quality, very stylish and fit nicely. I do recommend getting these jeans! Hopefully I can work on my stomach and get another pair or two in a smaller size!! Good luck during the Christmas holidays, right? :) BTW, when leaving reviews, please say more than "nice, good, sent back, gave as a gift didn't like etc." I really rely on all the reviews to make a choice when buying anything, especially clothing.
