Just As I Am

If listening to Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett and Blake Shelton everyday is your thing?! (Yep, it's mine!) Then this album is going to be in heavy rotation! If you listened and liked his first two releases you know what an awesome writer and musician he is. This album has a slightly more mature feel to it and is a bit contemplative. I truly love this album, it was worth every penny!(Although, Best Buy has it for 9.99.) Favorites to be played as loud as possible! If You Want A Bad Boy, Bottoms Up, Small Town Throwdown (features Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett), 17 Again, My Baby's Guns N' Roses. One Hell of an Amen will bring a tear to most people's eyes, an beautiful and touching song. Let It Ride is a wonderful ballad that isn't sappy but tugs gently at memories and strings of things past and present. I'm Gone is more emotional then Let It Ride in the sense that it plucks, tugs and strums those string with an uncanny knowledge. Granger Smith has a song Don't Listen to the Radio, I feel like it's talking about this song! My Faith In You is a gospel tinged song that I can see putting on repeat time and time again. That Was Us and Lights Of My Hometown are good songs that I just can't quite describe. Overall, I love this new album! 5 stars and Congrats to Brantley Gilbert for masterfully segueing flawlessly from independent to major label without losing the sound that brought him such acclaim.

My nephew loves his cd

I listen to music mainly during a workout. Not sure about others but I love selecting an album and listening from beginning to end without having to skip any tracks; this definitely fits that mold. Brantley and his producers have selected some great songs and put a nice Brantley twist to them all. It's a fantastic CD and believe it's a must have for any country music fan. Great job Brantley; I say this is your best CD to date!!

Came just as described, no scratches and played perfectly

I bought this album because I was looking to add a few artist to my country mix and the songs "Bottoms Up" was included in this album and that's a top country song for me. I'm not a huge country person, but I listen to it when I'm in the mood. This album didn't disappoint when it came to needing a country fix. Definitely worth a buy if your a fan of Brantley Gilbert's music.

I have to start off by saying that I'm not a huge fan of Brantley's past albums; I like some songs but I could never listen to the entire album and enjoy it. With that said, I can definitely listen to "Just As I Am' all the way through. I love the rock n roll sound that is in every single song along with the country elements as well. There's a great variety of up tempo and slow tracks, with "My Baby's Guns n Roses" and "I'm Gone" being my favorite. "One Hell of an Amen" is the most emotional song on the album and it is a truly beautiful song and has a beautiful sentiment. The grit in his voice is evident in every song, but it never gets old. I love how Brantley mixes country into his mostly rock n roll sound; no country artist today does that as well as he does. Overall, it's artists like Brantley Gilbert that make Georgia country some of the absolute best country music today.

Everything was fine

I wasn't sure about Gilbert's direction after the release of the first single from this album: Bottoms Up - which is your typical tailgate dropping/drinking modern country song. Small Town Throwdown (with Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett (Rhett makes me feel old as I have CD's from his Dad, Rhett Akins!)) is again in that genre, which is starting to get a little tired. If You Want a Bad Boy isn't a great track either, so likely will get a single release!! However, you just need to dig behind that and you will find some wonderful stuff. My Faith In You is a good example - real lyrically rich country music. Grown Ass Man (buried as a bonus track on the deluxe edition) is along those lines as well. Lights of My Hometown and One Hell of an Amen also. Two tracks are almost rock - which is the general direction GIlbert's music seems to be going - appeal as well: My Baby's Guns and Roses and another bonus track Read Me My Rights. The only negative is the platinum edition containing 5 more tracks and for those of us still rocking the CD's, you are hardly going to cough up for tracks you already have. Outside of that, great stuff - I haven't grown tired of it yet, although I will skip over a couple of tracks sometimes.

Spedizione un pò lenta ma viene comunque specificato, all' arrivo il cd si presenta in ottimo stato e sigillato. Per quanto riguarda Brantley Gilbert non ci sono parole, più volte in cima alle classifiche americane di Rock Country

de la bonne country-rock, des textes intéressants, une musique solide, bref un artiste américain à découvrir. c'est un succès aux usa et c'est mérité
