boAt Stone 1200 14W Bluetooth Speaker with Upto 9 Hours Battery, RGB LEDs, IPX7 and TWS Feature((Techno Purple)

As most products from Boat, this is a great speaker. Sound quality and bass effects are out of this world. Playtime without RGB works for 9hrs and with RGB works for 7hrs. Bluetooth range is good. Product is quite big, it's almost 2kgs and around 25cms long. Carry rope works fine. Only issue I found is that the battery charging indicator doesn't display if the battery is full, it keeps on displaying the charging indication. A standard 1.5hrs of charge time will last for 9hrs of playtime without RGB.

The sound is good but when the sound is slow it sometimes drops the connection, this is the problem, the rest mid, low, high, are very nice. Battery backup needs a little more....

I have been using this for long time now ans it was good experience.Sound quality is good. Works well with TV as well. Enhances tv sound really well. Bass is also good. I am not sound geek but it gets work done. At this price what else you expect.Easy to carry around.Charging is slow but last few days even i have used it to watch full movies or continued use of 3-4 hours.We can also use it while plugged in to charger. I have not used aux and other features.Just one problem i have faced is with Samsung TV. Once paired it will prompt to connect once switched on and sound is choppy so i have to disconnect and pair everytime i use. It does not happen with other devices. Only with Samsung TV i have faced this issue.

The media could not be loaded.  Just bought it a few minutes ago.I previously bought JBL Charge 5, which was a Rs. 16K trash speaker. But when I compare that JBL with this speaker, this one is well over my expectation. This speaker sounds really really good.Of course the bigger the speaker, the better it will sound. In this case, the speaker is about 12cm (height) x 29cm (wide) x 12cm(depth). And the speaker has to be bigger to give you more bass.According to Hofmann's iron law, you can choose only two:[1] Size (compactness)[2] Bass[3] LoudnessThis is bigger, so it can give you bass and loudness compared to smaller speakers.Anyway, here's what I think:Pros:1. Bass and Clarity: The speaker has amazing bass and extremely good clarity.2. Sound Quality: The sound quality and volume are extremely good. 14W woofer with tweeters isn't exactly a bad thing!3. Quality Strap Provided: Good quality strap provided which will let you even wear the speaker on your shoulder!4. USB Provided: Has USB mode which will let you plug your thumb drive with songs to play (not tried).The cons:1. Sleeve not tight: The sleeve on the top is a bit loose and glides if you hold that.2. No memory: The speaker doesn't save your settings. For example, I don't like flashy RGB colours, and I turn them off. Every time I turn the speaker on, I need to press the "M" key for a second to turn the light off.3. Limited Light Colours: I wanted some constant colour (like purple or white for example), not flashy RGB.4. Too Flashy: RGB LED doesn't always look good to many people.5. USB Mode doesn't connect to the phone: USB is a female jack, so it won't connect to your phone. It can charge your phone if the charge is on. But you can't even play songs from your phone because it requires a thumb drive and doesn't work as a sound card.6. Battery Life: Doesn't look like the battery has a lot of juice in it. Doesn't work for long if the sound is high (even if RGB is off).7. Feels cheap: The looks of the product is really nice, but looks like it's kind of fragile and cheap. As I said the sleeve is a bit loose. A lot of people say the ribbon holder comes out, I can't disagree - I can't pull it off now, but it's actually not really good quality plastic.8. Bluetooth Range: Biggest con of a bluetooth speaker if the range isn't good. It's okay-ish though.9. Bluetooth Connection: Random devices can connect to this speaker and the other one gets disconnected. Usually most bluetooth speakers lets you disconnect the speaker by pressing the power button for a second or so. But this doesn't work here.Overall, it looks like the count of cons > and pros, but the cons I listed aren't a huge deal for most people. The sound quality is awesome, the speaker looks sexy, and the connection is good. The battery life is so-so. So I think it's a 5-star from my side.EDIT:Added cons number 6, 7 and 8.Con 7 is not a huge deal for me or most people, but 8 certainly is. I have to reduce one star for cons 8, and another one for cons 6.

Good sound quality. Decent battery life…. Bass could be better though….. Go for it !

Amazing sound quality and super bass for the size of the speaker

Coming from a boat stone 1000 battery life is extremely dissapointing. It works for 10 songs maximum on full volume and idk why and what is the issue with this unit. Also please note that the Amazon return doesnt work here you gotta register with boat and then complaint , raise a ticket , send it to repair bla bla bla.. BE CAREFUL WHEN U ORDER.Sound Quality is mid !!!Bass is do-able but not great. Mids and Highs are muffled or not that great. I feel boat stone 1200 is muffled compared to boat stone 1000 in general. I always have to use EQ in Spotify if i play songs and when im in any other platform like youtube i cnt help but listen to it as it is and it feels really dumb to do this everytime.Ill be trying to return this or sell this and get the old boat stone 1000 again rather than getting this.
