Excellent reel for Northern California bottom fishing
Excellent reel for the price. This reel is built solid with a smooth drag. Used 40lb test braid and paired it with some of my slow pitch rods during my 2018 season with no issues with big lingcods or big rockfishes from 160 ft to 240 ft. The drag is not the highest pound rating out there, but it still gets the job done without the higher costs.
