Looks great on the truck. When installing, add the foam pads to both sides of the mounting bracket to keep the entire assembly tight (see pic). The quality seems good and I haven’t had any issues with the coating, will update after a winter or two in the Northeast. Installation wasn’t bad, I should note that the only brackets providing support are the ones you both into the bed. The two on the side of the vehicle slip over he taillight pins and therefore don’t provide much support at all. Will this protect your taillight? Unsure. The aluminum seems a bit thin to offer any real protection against threats on or off the road. With that being said, it fits great, looks great, installs relatively easily and is a great deal for the price.

I'm always looking for Tacoma mods that are new, unique, and different. This fits the bill. The tail covers hide some of the chrome on my stock taillights. The matte black finish adds some nice style that match other blackout mods on my '21 TRD Off-road. The metal covers should also offer extra protection for the taillights. Seem strong and sturdy. This will be especially beneficial when I spend money upgrading my lights. Overall installation isn't too bad. It does require removing the lights to install the brackets, which is fairly early (2 bolts per light). Once I figured out what I was doing on the first cover, the second one only took me about 5 minutes.

Easy to install. no need to remove any electrical connections (like shows on the video). once two outside brackets are lined up (bigger top, smaller bottom) you can actually see where foam barrier can be added because those two brackets will be against the paint. other two brackets (with mounting threads) installed from truck bed side one is shorter the other longer, easy to figure out where each one goes because of the mounting screw spacing. do not tighten, taillight mounting screws, just snug them in place till all mounting screws are started. For some reason bolts would not go with flat washers, but not a problem i think, using only lock washers it made the bolts longer and much tighter fit. Enjoy!

Obviously protects your tail lights and makes the truck look more durable and bad ass. Install was less than an hour with a perfect fit. Well worth, not replacing a tail light. Toyota Tacomas now require replacing the whole tail light for cracked lens. About $500

Great product! Looks super on the truck and very solid ... they will actually protect the light. When pulling off my light from the truck there are 2 layers to the pins. Sometimes they stick meaning the bracket won't fit. You need to ensure there are 2 metal pins for the brackets to work. if the plastic larger piece stays on you simply have to pull it off and put it back into the light housing so you can put the bracket on the correct pin. Otherwise the install is very straightforward. The brackets really only fit on 1 way so you'll see when you get to doing it. Highly recommended product. The support team was in touch with me the same day and sorted out the issue with the pin. Very happy with them.

Looks great! Good quality, instructions were okay. Installation took about 35 minutes. Overall pretty satisfied.

Very easy install and a great way to save my rear tail lights from falling debris at work.
