Perfect fit!
You don't know how bad they are until you replace them. Wow! No more 'bouncing'. Nice and firm, washboard is easier to drive on [still not fun, but more tolerable]. These are a perfect fit on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma. I gave them a 5 star, "Ease to install", as they are...that is .. once you manage to get the old dirty nuts and bolts off. THAT was the work. I had both rear shocks on in about an hour [having to jack up each wheel at a time, I don't have a good floor jack]. The front shocks however, took another 2 to 3 hours. And again, that was due to having to jack one side up at a time, and then fight to get those old nuts off. I thought for sure I was going to snap the bottom bolt on one. But once you get the tie rods loose, the old struts out.. putting the new ones in took a matter of about 10 to 20 minutes to get them in place and re-install the tie rods. The one thing that was hard, was the upper wheel mount plates: I had to use a piston jack to push them back down, as once they are loosened, they spring upward, and it takes a fair amount of strength to pull them back down and hold them in place when replacing the connecting bolts. As for the shocks themselves; they made the ride like new! I highly recommend them for the DIYer.

Great ride
Stock struts/shocks were going out and looked for similar products. after reading reviews made the decision to purchase these. after getting new tires/front end alignment and I had these installed. They have been great ! and really helped the ride of my truck. For the price it was a great purchase and have had no problems.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!
I ordered a set of 4 shocks for my tacoma. packages arrived in good condition. Took them to my Toyota dealer for installation and was informed that one of the front shocks was the incorrect model and wold not fit.Truck was already apart and the old shock had to be cut out so putting back the old one was not an option. Toyota said they could source it locally for me but at a cost of about double what i paid and they'd put the wrong one back in the box for return.detroit axle would not discuss any refund amount other than the original price even though it cost me double due to there mistake but what choice did i have so i sent it back. when they received it they said it was damaged and offered no refund. I looked at the shock before i sent it back,it was fine. so guess what. I got screwed. NOT HAPPY !!!

Value!
YouTube is great for learning how to install these. First time doing these and took about 2.5 hours to do front and back. If I were to do them again it would probably take half that. I’ve had them on my truck for 3 weeks now, going great so far! Coil overs seem to be holding up just fine, the flex is better than the old ones I replaced due to bushing wear and rust on the shocks. I also love the all black look, I will update this review when I’ve had them closer to 1 year.

Checked for pricing locally and on line for a complete set of struts and rear shocks. This deal was unbeatable, warranty isnt very long, but in my situation is what good enough. Really couldn't notice any particular difference in ride or handling but really wasn't paying much attention. Installed on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma which is scheduled for a frame swap. The dealer inspected the frame, and as I would suspect began with a list of parts that would need replaced during the swap. I replaced the muffler and tailpipe ($106) locally compared to the dealer ($495) muffler, and while the rear shocks were bad, For the price of this entire set the dealer wanted for the rear shocks. Anyway, it will help the resale value, that was the end objective. But very satisfied with this set for the price. Close to 3 X the cost purchasing locally. Thankful this company has not inflated their pricing, perhaps after being established a few more years they will, regardless I would purchase from them again.
