CARD Spot works exclusively with the Find My app on iOS, and Chipolo CARD works with Chipolo app on Android and iOS. When you add CARD Spot to the Find My app, you can play a sound if it’s nearby, see it on the map, and get notified when it’s found.

Can I also add Chipolo CARD Spot to the Chipolo app?

No. The Chipolo CARD Spot works exclusively with the Apple Find My app.

How secure is the Apple Find My network?

The unique Bluetooth identifiers used to locate a device on the Find My network rotate frequently so users can’t be tracked from place to place & the Apple Find My network uses ensure that no one, not even Apple or Chipolo, can view your location.

If your iPhone finds an unknown Spot near you for a longer time, you will be alerted. The CARD Spot will start making a sound so you can find it. These alerts trigger when the Chipolo CARD Spot is not connected to its owner's phone for over 72 hours.
