Absolutely fantastic read
I honestly don’t know how to say what I want to say about this series. I have been reading non-stop and sneaking in little reading periods whenever I could. I was actually excited to finish my workday so that I could go home and curl up to read. I would read when I should have been doing something around my house! I was hooked on this story from the first book. I adored Feyre from the beginning. I actually liked Tamlin, but just knew Rhys was so much more and craved the connection that he and Feyre had. This story was just so well developed and written. Each of the characters were given so much attention and they were developed beautifully. You just have to love all of them! Their family connection in this last book was perfect. I feel like there are some real families that are not this close or loving. Sarah Maas was masterful in each character”s development. This was a very long series/story, but it never got boring or repetitive. It needed to be this long and I honestly did not want it to end. I want to know what happens with each of them. Azriel, Mor??? And what about Elain? Does she ever find happiness with her mate? This was the first fae/fantasy series I have read and I really did enjoy it. I am now a Sarah j Maas fan and will be trying her other works. I just need to recover from this book hangover first. Or actually savor it a little longer before I can move on. I absolutely recommend this series even if you don’t think it is your cup of tea. Give it a try !!! You may fall hard like I did….

Nesta you are my girl!!!!
Wow, I absolutely loved the book, the storyline, and Nesta’s character development. I can’t forget Cassian and his unwavering determination, devotion, and ROMANCE!!! Bravo, Cassian! You’ve made my poor husband listen to me read your romance out loud to him because it was top-notch. 🥵🥵🥵 It a good teaching lesson. Hehehe 🤭This book was incredibly healing! The level of common ground with Nesta and her trauma is unreal! The friendship and family that was built… ugh! My dam heart! 😭😭😭😭I will be slowly dying of a broken heart that there isn’t another YET (**cough, cough*** SJM get the hell on it already, cauldron save us it’s been years) 🤣So farewell Acotar lovers, I am forever a super fan and now I’m off my wreck my soul with a first time read of SJM’s Throne of Glass seriesTataaaa 👋🏽

Prepare for all of the feels!
I’m on a high after finishing this story. Sarah J Maas managed to craft another intricate novel in this world, one that I know many won’t forget anytime soon. It is raw and deep, as I expected when it came to Nesta, and I’m glad SJM didn’t shy away from writing all the gritty details to really give us the entire scope of who Nesta truly is. I already sympathized and liked her from ACOFAS, but this book made her shine in so many ways. Honestly, nothing I can say will ever give justice to Nesta’s character. Seeing her development, her strength, but especially her weaknesses, tore my heart apart. I related to Nesta even more with her story, I could feel myself bonding with her pain and struggles, because hers are my own. So, thank you, Sarah J Maas, for giving Nesta her deserved story that many of us only hope to achieve one day."Nesta had become a wolf. Armed herself with invisible teeth and claws, and learned to strike faster, deeper, more lethally. Had relished it. But when the time came to put away the wolf, she’d found it had devoured her, too."Another thing SJM managed to do was create a friendship bond, dare I say as strong or more than Rhys, Cassian and Azriel. The female friendship in this group was absolutely breath-taking. All three of them woven together, in past, present, future, in their nightmares, in their hopes to one day be free. SJM gave a strong voice for those who have endured pain at its cruelest, and she did it so eloquently and beautifully, it gripped my heart and gave me hope for my own future.“Our story is worth telling.”As for the romance, I don’t know how SJM went there, but she did. I’ll be the first to admit that this book was H-O-T! But let me also be the first to tell you it was way more than that. It was about growing and learning. We always expect a romance to start nice, or at the very least tolerable, maybe some jabs here and there, maybe some hate. But something we fail to recognize is that at the start of each relationship, there are struggles beyond our comprehension, and I’m speaking from experience. My own relationship (currently married) started off on the very wrong foot. We skipped the high of being in love and went straight for the bad. There were times where I thought we couldn’t possibly make it because we had already endured so much. To everyone else, we were on cloud 9, but only we knew the truth.Seeing Cassian and Nesta dealing with some very human emotions and situations, finally made me feel like my love story—despite everything, it is still a love story—also had a voice. Seeing how they slowly learned to lean on each other, to move forward, but still take 10 steps back, made Nessian’s love story REAL and so very relatable. His own instincts surged to meet her defiance, to push and push and discover what might happen.I was not expecting the large field of emotions I had while reading this book. My heart couldn’t take everything that was happening towards the end, couldn’t believe how much these characters had grown right before our very eyes, that their selflessness tugged my heartstrings.Sarah J Maas wrote a story to be remembered, to be contemplated, to be dissected, to be breathed, and to be lived.
