Fit well into a 2007 Toyota Corolla
Installed these adapters in a 2007 Toyota Corolla. They fit very well and securely held the speakers in place. Every fiber in my body wanted to install these spacers with the smooth side up, but they are designed to be installed with the RIBBED side up. One of the four corners of the adapter is dog-eared. When installed this corner of the adapter will be oriented in the front left position on both sides (left orientation being as if you were sitting in the drivers seat facing forward). There were two small problems I ran into when installing the speakers to the adapters were as follows. 1. The dog-eared corner: When installed, the frame on the new speakers came very close to the edge of the adapter bolt hole. The factory bolts have a wide base on them and could not be inserted with the speakers in place. I ended up purchasing a cap screw with the same thread pitch as the factory bolts. The smaller head size on the cap screw fit perfectly with the new speaker installed. 2. The small screws supplied to attach the speakers to the adapter would slightly protrude past the bottom of the adapter (by about one thread length) when attaching the speaker to the adapter. The screws sticking past the adapter would not allow the adapter to sit flat against the vehicle when the speakers were put into place. I simply used a 5mm flat washer and a 4mm lock washer under each of the small screws. This made the screws flush with the bottom of the adapters when tightened. Overall these speaker adapters worked well and appeared to be adequately constructed for their purpose. I would recommend these to a friend.

Perfect fit
Not fit the front doors of a Camry 2017. But an aftermarket speaker with a bigger magnet wouldn’t fit there anyway so what you have to do is cut some one by one blocks to size as spacers drill them underneath drill the grill on top and screw the speaker into that. Does they’ll fit the back ones.

Works in 2004 Corolla S
Researched what it would take to replace the rear deck factory speakers and I found out that aftermarket speakers requires holes different that what Toyota uses. I bought a pair of Kicker 11KS69 6x9s and these adapter plates fit very nicely. The adapters have two sides, one flat and one where much of it is hollowed out. The hollowed out side should point up and the one rounded corner should point towards the left (driver side) front of the car. Both adapters were mounted the same way for the left and right speakers. Taking apart the rear deck is a bit of a pain that requires removing the two panels on either side of the rear window as well as folding down the rear seats (using the release levers in the trunk) and removing the grommets holding the plastic panels together. Because space is so tight in the back of a Corolla, these adapters prevented me from having to attempt drilling holes. Works as advertised.

Plastic and fitting is fine. Need to find your own hardware.
Plastic is ok. However I gave 3 stars because you need to find hardware to mount the speakers to the plastic. It does come with hardware but I have no idea what that's for. It's screws that don't fit anything. Also you need find screws that fit and then cut and flush it down on the underside so the bracket sits flush. Would not recommend unless you're ok with that.

Cool easy with a little wiggling Looks as good as they sound
I used these to install my new speakers on the rear deck of my 2012 Camry. They fit is a little rough but with some skill you can get em in & rock out in no time! Secondly, I've used Pioneer Speakers for the past 40 years in some of my most expensive project cars so when it came time to replace the speakers in my grocery geeter, I thought long & hard & only 2 names came to mind Kicker & Pioneer. So I made the wise choice of going with my own go-to for car audio. I just installed these in my 2012 Toyota Camry with a 125 x 4 -Amp & a new 10.5" Custom head unit & yes these things scream & kick out the BASS out of my brain. These things are power hungry, so I would highly recommend an external amp for these or you won't have enough high performance sound. Buy these & you'll become a believer in Pioneer Car Stereo.

Very poorly designed
This product is very poorly designed and will not fit, well my particular make and model (2005 Toyota Corolla) despite it saying it would. I made it fit by drilling the holes wider but I feel like the plastic was on the verge of cracking. Only time will tell if this modification Will stand the test of time. For the time it took to get to where my speakers are and the ache of removing all the panels, bolts, screws, and self destructing plastic clips I should have bought the more expensive ones with better reviews. Doing all that work just to have it not fit and hope to be able to modify it without it breaking is not something I want on an item clearly stated to fit my vehicle. I hope this helps someone thinking of buying this so they don’t have to go through the headache I went through, yes I know it’s not hard to drill the holes a little wider than I make it fit correctly, but I was concerned the cheap plastic would crack so I took my sweet time with each hole to assure it would not crack.

Fits perfectly.
I love that I was able to install my whole sound system myself. I needed these adapters because the Alpine 6x9 speakers did not line up with the wholes that were already drilled in my car and I did not want to try to drill new ones. When I put them in I thought it was flipped upside down so after screwing in the adapter the smooth face wasn't on top so it looked like it was flipped on its face. But this was the only way the holes lined up perfectly. I haven't had any problems with my speakers rattling or anything like that and it has been a few months now.
