This has been the easiest and most effective spot cleaner I’ve ever used !! I now break off a piece for travel in case I spill . I’ve given as gifts to friends and family . Excellent product - don’t waste money on the chemicals that don’t work . This stuff is fantastic !!

This laundry bar… I’m speechless. Not only did it get iron-rich clay baseball dirt out of my stepsons white pants, but it rejuvenated my beloved converse high tops. I bought these shoes preowned 2 years ago because I loved that they were all white with the black/white labels. They were already dirty when I bought them. Then, I got them dirtier over the 2 years I’ve had them. I never washed them. They were filthy but I loved them. You can see the progression from beginning, to wet and gross and wow you can see every single stain, to “oh no what are these uncovered yellow stains that the dirt was camouflaging, I think I ruined my favorite shoes,” to the final product after throwing them in the washer. They aren’t perfectly unstained, but I don’t want them to be… ruins the lived-in look I like. If I washed them one more time, they would be completely stain free, I know that in my heart and soul. I don’t like the scent very much, because I don’t like artificial “fresh linen” smell, but I don’t care. Why did none of the older ladies I know tell me about this? Gatekeepers... This $4 laundry bar is going to be getting a glowing recommendation to literally everyone I know and will remain in my laundry room until the day I die, and even then I’ll be leaving all the Fels-Naptha bars I own to my daughter in my will. Fels-Naptha brings blessings upon blessings.

This stuff is magic. Got white sneakers with visible stains squeaky clean when nothing else, including specialized sneaker cleaners, would. I’m a believer!

I love these as a staple in the laundry room. I keep one in our travel bag, as well. These bars are great for pre-treating laundry stains.

Brand new white pants (coach isn’t doing laundry) for 10U baseball. The first washing was great. I wet the dirty pants, scrubbed the bar directly onto the knees, pockets, seems, zipper, cuffs, rear, I mean, the entire pant, just one place at a time. Then let them wash and soak in regular detergent with shaved Fels Naptha in the wash water. After the cycle, I inspected the hard-fought dirty spots. Most were white again, however, some places weren’t clean enough for me. So, I proceeded to scrub the bar directly on the dirty spots again. After a second soak and wash, they looked new again!! Now, the second time they got dirty, the Fels Naptha seemed less effective. I also observed the condition of the knee area was very rough, unlike the rest of the pants. I’m not sure if the worn knees were due to my aggressive scrubbing or the soap itself. Additionally, the first time I used the soap, the top of one hand must have had soap residue that left a red, painful chemical burn. It’s true, this is strong soap, with a very clean soap scent. I recommend it for removing stains from Georgia red clay and baseball diamond brick dust.

This soap is really good for rubbing stains out of clothes before putting them in the washing machine. I just wet the cloth and gently work this in. Sometimes I use a soft brush if it’s a stubborn stain. I make sure the stains are completely gone before I put the garments in the washing machine. Works like a charm. It also works well for poison ivy. I soap up my arms and let them dry before putting on my garden gloves, so it gives me a protective barrier from the oil in the poison ivy. The generous bars last a long time. I hope they keep making this forever.

I wish I discovered it earlier. It is fantastic. Removes stains very well, we used it on shoes as well. Great! Already re-ordered another pack.

I first saw this soap on a YouTube video by Jinnie on Homestead Corner. I decided to purchase it on her recommendation. This is my second order and I love these bars for removing really nasty and tough stains including crude oil from my husbands pants. I spray with a little spray and wash, then rub with the bar of soap and scrub a bit with a toothbrush. I repeat again in a while, let it sit then toss in the washer and voila, stains gone! If by chance a stain is not totally gone when I take the garment out of the washer, I immediately repeat the process before drying (drying will set the stain). That usually does the trick! I have shared my soap bars with my sisters and they love them too!

Smells good and works really well on stains. I would definitely buy this again.
