I think these figures get neater every series, and I loved that these were holiday-related. I read a bunch of reviews that said people were buying two boxes and getting either no repeats or few repeats. So, I purchased two boxes at the same time. I received one box of six characters (Snowman, Elf, Captain, Turkey, Robot, Fairy). The second box, when I opened it, it seemed like the one on top had been put in after the others, because it was facing up, instead of sideways -- it was the Dragon. I thought maybe I received the "other box" with the rest of the characters, but I received repeats of Snowman, Elf, Captain, Turkey, Robot (no Fairy). I understand that it's always a gamble, but this is the third time I've purchased two boxes and received either all repeats or almost all repeats.This does not detract from how neat these are, it's just the nature of how they're packaged. I just wanted to chime in, because the top reviews are people who had good luck, and I wanted to make sure that others knew that whoever fulfills these orders isn't making sure a purchase of two boxes = two unique boxes. You can still get repeats. I would have loved the Popcorn person and the Nutcracker, but it's okay! I was so happy to get the Elf with the snowglobe, which is really cute! And I have two! :)

I got these to use as a gift for my children, and they loved them! It was one of the first things they wanted to open this year. They were so excited to figure out what characters they got, and the characters were so unique and different from the ones that they get in other Lego sets. They were also different from the ones they put together at the Lego store, so they were happy, and that in turn made me happy! Plus, I have to admit that the figures were very creative and unique. I mean, a boat-guy and a dragon person are not ones that I would have ever thought of!

Ordered two boxes of theses and got the entire set of 12. No duplicates. Never took this approach before. I previously used the feel method at the store. Took a shot with the boxes of six since they were on sale. I guess I should have read the questions and other reviews before ordering where it is stated that individual boxes don’t contain duplicates. Overall, could not have asked for it to go better. Got all 12 mini figs on sale with no duplicates. I will do this again for future series if the opportunity presents itself.

I ordered two boxes and both were the same (almost 1 Minifigure was different). I received: nut cracker, reindeer, wolf, the knight, popcorn and either dragon or fairy. I did weigh boxes for fun and for fairy was 117g and with dragon 118g. No idea if that would hold up or what the other boxes weigh. Was great for my daughter to get 6 different ones and we gave the others to friends so wasn't too bad to get same... I guess one could get lucky to buy 2 and get all 12.

I was so excited to bring these to my family's white elephant exchange bc legos span generations. What happened was that I ended up with them and then my aunt took mercy on me and took them to send to someone else. If you're really into the element of surprise to get a tiny lego person, this is perfect. If you're gifting it to someone who might not be obsessed with legos, it's prob not the move.

I decided to order 2 boxes to try for all the minifigures. Usually I get at least one double, usually 2. But this time I managed to get all 12 different minifigures from just the 2 boxes. The printing on each figure is good and the figures are very unique. I’m glad I ordered through Amazon instead of Lego direct since last time from Lego direct I got 2 of the exact same boxes with duplicates of all 6.
