Excellent item and very well packed

Better rod and hard case than I expected for the price I paid. Took longer to arrive due to international shipping delays, but was extremely well packed.Happy to recommend product.

You get what you paid for.....

It a nice looking fishing rod. However, it still hard to win more than 3 stars in my review.First, the it is hard to disassemble out of case. One of the junction was jammed after first time of use. I need to use my knee to tear them aparts. After that, I re-finished all the junctions with sand papers to solve this issue.Second, the rod is too hard that I can not feel most of anything from the water.Third, the line guides are too small that made this rod not good for long distance casting. I am not a fishing expert at all, but I would like to share my personal experience. With a 1 oz spoon and 15lbs braid , the maxima distance I could reach is around 65 yards. Btw, with a 5/8 vib plus the same braid and Daiwa Saltist casting rod , I could earlier reach 75-80 yard.The price might be reasonable in the USA, but if you have friend going to visit you from Asia....you should ask them to find one for you. There is a huge difference on the price between two markets.

Great Travel Rod

Used this rod on a 10 day Salmon Fishing trip to Alaska. Limited out nearly every day. Very light and well built rod. We were Combat Fishing from the shore of an inlet and had to land the fish fast and get it out of the water. We punished these poles and they performed flawlessly. Was using 8' 6" medium rod with a Goture 4000 reel. Casting a #5 & 6 Vibrax Spinners. Was able to cast very far with out much effort. Would highly recommend this rod and reel combo

Every angler should have one of these.

Every fisherman should own one of these poles.This is my third Goture travel pole. I own a lightweight, medium and medium heavy weight among other travel poles brands.This brand is my favorite by far.The most important advice I can give you is do not twist to disassemble this or any carbon fiber travel rod. Grab the pieces firmly and pull them straight away. Twisting will cause the composite to de-laminate weaken and break.Goture’s Customer Service is bar none, and their tackle catches big fish I can’t say enough good about this company.

Decent travel rod

It feels good in your hands almost as good as my okuma citrix travel rods.The last couple guides are smaller than I would like. I use a 10# corkscrew and have to cut the line every time I brack it down(the okuma citrix eye is big enough to let it pass)There is no hook catch so you have to atach to the guides if your not ready to brack it down.Haven't hooked into anything big yet but it seems like a really decent rod for the price
