This is perfect for all of your crimping needs. It works great. I love the way the eight small wires pass directly through the connector so you can tell whether or not you did it properly. The crimping tool works great as far as making sure the connector is on properly. And at the same time the cutting tool cuts off the wires that have come out of the front of the connector. A great design. A great tool.

Works great. Have used it for about 6 connections so far. I don’t have to do any more and I am so glad I didn’t spend double or triple for a name brand version of this tool. I had one tech issue, wrote the company and they responded within an hour. Two notes: 1) the tester is pretty basic. It actually showed that the connections made were good, but the the cable did not work. This leads to me note #2) the connectors do NOT work with Cat 6a cable. The handout that comes with it “appears” to have conflicting info about the size wire the connectors work with. For example, one of their charts shows their included connectors should work with 26 AWG wire…but the Utilitech 26 AWG Cat 6a wire I bought would not work with these connectors. However, further down in their instructions they specifically say the connectors don’t work with 6a cables. Anyhow, I’m an Ethernet-running newb and it was maddening trying to figure it all out. Bottomline though, when I bought the proper 6a connectors for my cable this tool crimped them perfectly and our cable flowed our data at max speed.

This is an excellent buy for DIY-ers who want to run Ethernet throughout their house. The included connectors fit my outdoor CAT-6 without a hitch, and the crimper itself has been very reliable.

Not ratcheting so it feels less solid seating than the original, blue handle “yellow guide” style pass thru crimps. They did work and fit well in my secondary bag. Extra blade included. I’d give 5 stars but the fact I’ll be using a magnifier to verify seating for a while due to no final “click” earns only 4. You should still buy them

I would call it a mini tool. I read the instructions. I was sceptical I could do this but my 1st cable was from scrap from a longer cable. It tested 8 out of 8. It worked... It's going to save me a fortune being able to re-end LAN cables. It's got a wire stripper built in to the crimper but the little yellow one works better. Even comes with extra blades to swap if needed. You will need a small Phillips head to swap them.

I have not made my own cables in over 20 years and dont have fond memories of the last time I did. Recently we changed some rooms around in our home and I had to run cabling under the floor so I ordered this kit with a spool of cable. Wow, this makes doing your own cables so much easier than it used to be. Pushing the wires through the end and cutting then with the crimp cuts back on bad cables and its way faster. Tool quality is solid and I would recommend this kit.

Very good product, works well

DO NOT BUY! Piece of garbage that doesn't crimp. I'm experienced with crimping RJ45 and needed something for a CAT6 run for my home network using 23awg solid core. The continuity tester showed good connection but no link lights, nothing. I spent hours troubleshooting and recrimped multiple times "just in case I missed something" and squeezed the handle as hard I could and held it, but nothing worked. Finally I broke down and bought the $48 Klein and some different connectors, and everything worked perfectly on the first try! The main problem is that this unit uses plastic against the connector when crimping when the Klein uses cast metal.

There is a certain handedness when working with this tool to hold the tool with one hand and use the other hand to get the clips inserted into the correct side. The cutters and strippers worked well. The final crimps were clean and looked good. And worked. And given the cable pass through, no juggling of strand lengths was necessary (given the appropriate connectors which also allow passthrough).

Took me a few minutes to learn how to use it, but it helped me a lot and yes, I would buy this again

Mir sind die zu langen Netzwerkkabel zwischen Räumen und Geräten auf den Geist gegangen. Immer dieser unnötige Kabelsalat. Jetzt habe ich auf passend gekürzt und mit diesem Werkzeug neu gecrimpt. Damit ging das problemlos. Egal ob geschirmt oder nicht geschirmtes Kabel. Wer noch nie gecrimpt hat kann das nach ein paar Filmchen auf YT auch wenn er nicht gerade den Zitterich hat. Sehr gut an der Zange gefällt mir die Schnittvorrichtung bei pass-through-Crimpung. Sehr präzise und kinderleicht. Und wer dann 1000 oder mehr Schnitte gemacht hat für den wird gleich ein kleines Ersatzmesserchen mitgeliefert. Die Zange besticht durch ihre Genauigkeit beim Pressen auf die einzelnen Kontakte und das Gefühl der Wertigkeit dieses Werkzeugs. Der unverzichtbare Kabeltester erfüllt seinen Zweck anstandslos wenn man eine 9V Batterie eingesetzt hat. Der Entmanteler/Abisolierer macht keinen besonders wertigen Eindruck. Erfüllt seinen Zweck aber auch anstandslos, erleichtert die Arbeit und ist somit doch was wert. Einzig die beiliegende Zange gefällt mir nicht so besonders weil die beiden Schneiden nicht präzise übereinander liegen und ich ggf. nachschneiden muss. Aber dafür hat man ja immer eine zweite, präzisere Zange zur Hand oder gute Zähne... Die zur Lieferung gehörenden Lan-Stecker sind vielleicht nicht gerade das Gelbe vom Ei was die Qualität betrifft. Erfüllen aber ihren Zweck und dadurch, dass es Pass-Through-Stecker sind, sind sie eine tolle Erleichterung beim Einfädeln und lassen den Crimp-Anfänger nicht gleich verzweifeln. Ich gebe für dieses Crimpwerkzeug eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Assemblata rete per la prima volta, per collegare una camera esterna. Il kit é economico, non certo professionale, ma mi ha portato al risultato senza avere esperienza e senza errori al primo colpo.
