Seems to be exact replacement
This appears to be an exact replacement. The internal battery units are name brand. The connector is exact fit. I tested my beacon two ways with good results. I expect this to last another 5 years. The price is competitive. Delivery very quick. It was easy to replace. So far, so good.

Reasonable replacement battery pack.
Replacement battery for my PLB (personal locator beacon) easy to install, well worth it. Safety and peace of mind when out in the boonies.

Perfect fit for plb-375
Very easy to replace the battery - 2 screws. Be sure to clean your gasket and maybe use a little bit of silicone. The battery uses panasonic industrial lithium cells. The way it is manufactured the plastic coating on the batteries covers the expiration date but 123 cells typically are good for 9-10 years so I think it is fair to say the batteries are good for 5 years (assuming these guys sell enough of these that fresh cells are used in each battery)

Not a PLB1 Replacement
This is not the replacement battery for the Ocean Signal PLB1 as advertised. The polarity is opposite and the battery will not fit inside the case. The original is stacked two vertical with one horizontal cell while the replacement is 3 horizontal. Do not buy for the PLB1 it will not work.

Exact Fit for my ACR EPIRB
This battery pack was an exact fit for my ACR ResQLink+ PLB-375. I opened the battery pack that was installed by ACR and the batteries were the same batteries that ACR uses. To install the battery all you need is a phillips screw driver. Unplug the old battery and install the new one. Very easy to do. There are several videos explaining the process. Save yourself a lot of money by doing it yourself!

Easier than sending the PLB back to manufacturer repair for new battery
This replacement battery pack fit the personal locator beacon perfectly. It was easy to swap in. Found instructions on the web Helpful, but not necessary. Just care and common sense does it too.

Replacing the battery in my PLB would have cost over $200 from the maker. This battery was quite easy to fit and was indistinguishable from the original. There is undoubtedly a risk doing this yourself rather than getting the OEM part fitted by an expert, but if you are comfortable doing this then it’s a huge savings.
