It is exactly what I needed , since it is hard for me to water the hanging plants without a step stool. They are holding up well and are out in the weather, not under an enclosed porch. The basket that I hang from them is not very big nor heavy, so I cannot attest to the total strength that they would hold.

Two come in the package and neither one worked for us. We could pull our flower pot down but it would not retract. I tried every tip to get it to wind back but it wouldn't so we threw them away. Possible we received a lemon but neither one worked for us.

Could not be any better!

So far so good. A little difficult to get it to the length you want. Once I got it, it seems to be working. I have not moved it up and down yet.
