Slipdrive - Portable Hard Drive Sleeve for Laptop - HDD Hard Disk Drive - Reusable Adhesive - 5.5” x 4.5” Stick on External Hard Drive Carrying Case - Travel Pocket Pouch (Large, Black)

This little guy is great. I hated having to pull my SSD out of storage every time I wanted to back up my MacBook, so I found this and gave it a try. The material feels very durable but also very elastic. I don't know exactly what it is, but it holds my SSD and the data transfer cable securely, and there is no way either one is falling out. I've had it for 8 months now, and it is just as firmly attached to my MacBook's protective case as the day I put it on. It hasn't loosened at all. I've also taken the SSD out and put it back in many times over those 8 months, and the sleeve hasn't lost any of its elasticity. The listing says it comes off without leaving residue, but I haven't removed it yet, so I can't confirm that part. I use a SanDisk Extreme portable SSD that measures 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide, and it fits perfectly with about a finger's width of room to spare. Now my drive is always with my laptop, so I have quick access to it and I don't have to worry about losing it.

Game changer for laptop life. Even adheres to satin laptop covers which was what I was looking for. The quality of the build is amazing. I have 2, and it is the only way i've been able to mobile dev all sorts of things. Seriously a good buy, and I'd buy again, and recommend to any content nerd that has drives in specifically in the samsung T5/ T7, and SPECIFICALLY the SANDISK Professional 4TB PRO-G40 SSD - which are my highest capacity and hardest working drives (BTW WTF I just checked the price on those things????). Game changing tech to bring your junk with you.

Good quality and nature per solution to a lot of the others out there. The adhesive is absurdly strong, and once connected will not want to be removed so make sure you line it up properly. I will say that if you have any of the larger SSD’s, it will be a little bit difficult to insert them. Good for the price and very us

Excellent product, the drive sits tightly in the pouch and doesn't move and it is very convenient to not have any cables and hard drives hanging from the side. Very happy with my purchase

Great product overall. I haven't tried to move it, so I can't report on how reusable the adhesive actually is, but it definitely stays in place without any slippage. Fits my Samsung T7 SSD perfectly and holds it securely in place on the lid of my laptop. Because I use my SSD with multiple devices, I'm thinking of getting another Slipdrive for my tablet

I bought this to hold my Time Machine back up from my iMac. I just have a little Samsung T7 solid State Drive but I think the price they asked for this is kind of outrageous. It is decent quality,

This is one of those ridiculously simple products that makes you wonder why you didn’t buy it sooner. I use an external hard drive with my laptop regularly, and this little sleeve keeps it secure instead of letting it dangle around by the cable or slide across my desk like it has somewhere to be. It’s unobtrusive, easy to use, and makes my setup feel much tidier and more portable. Is it glamorous? No. Do I now find myself strangely enthusiastic about an adhesive hard-drive pocket? Apparently, yes. Five stars for solving a problem I didn’t realize was annoying me.

Why didn’t I order this sooner?! I used to plug my external drive in and occasionally it would get unplugged, causing the programs I was working in to crash—and even worse, sometimes my files would become corrupted. This sleeve works wonders! I can leave the drive plugged in, and since I bought a 3 inch cord, I don’t have to worry about a long cable dangling around. I can move my laptop from one room to another, open and close my laptop, and the drive stays securely in place and plugged in the entire time. Such a simple solution to a problem that was driving me crazy. Love it!

Es una buena opción para conservar el disco cerca de tu computadora, tiene buen resorte y es pequeño

Luckily i bought 2. I ruined the first one right away as i tried to peel off the paper backing for the adhesive, but the whole sticky layer come out with it and now its unusable. Had to be super careful with the 2nd one and the paper back was extremely difficult to remove. Now im hoping it stays.

Perfect, no complaints!
