Most Effective and Comfortable Solution (With correct care)
I don't do a whole lot of reviews, but i just had to after my CPAP journey.Over the last 2 years I've had so many issues with my mask. I've purchased just about every device or solution there is. I've used the gel cushions, cotton cushions; you name it.I was getting extremely painful and disgusting blisters and sores on my nose from the plastic garbage masks they give you. Fortunately i found theseI've seen many reviews complaining about these not lasting long enough. Well, it all comes down to care. The most important thing to consider is when you are placing the mask on your face and also taking it off, don't move it around too much (Especially if you're a man with facial hair). Facial hair will shred the memory foam. The foam is extremely fragile. But if you carefully place it on your face and carefully take it off in the morning, you will avoid most of the damage. When it comes time to cleaning the device, use Dawn dishwashing soap and (gently) scrub the foam for about 5 minutes, ensuring the soap has time to kill any germs. Then rinse with warm water, and gently press the foam into the palm of your hand until the water is ringed out. Do this about two or three times. Now put the device in front of a floor fan or any fan you can arrange. Leave it in front of the fan for at least 2-3 hours. Many people have complained that the mask gets smelly or mildewy after trying to clean it; but it's because they didn't expose it to constant air. Instead they just set it out to dry. No, you need moving air to dry the foamJust one device has lasts me 3-4 months without any damage. And i have extremely coarse facial hair. It's like sandpaper. But with the proper care, you can make it last. Thanks to the designers of this mask, I'm able to actually sleep at night If it wasn't for the memory foam, I may have died due to sleep apnea because i wasn't using my CPaP for this reason. Hope this helps

Comfy but runs a little small.
The mask is fairly comfortable but runs a bit smaller than the standard F20 mask that it replaces. Unlike the original F20, which is flexible enough to expand around your nose when it fills with air, this model does not expand and so it feels smaller. I will probably try the next size up when I replace this one, but I'm afraid that it may leak more. This mask can leak, of course, but it's a little quieter when it does than the mask it replaces, which can sound like a whoopee cushion.

Dont buy the name brand
Absolutely Horrible, i ordered this to compare against a couple cheaper knock off models, I wore the RESMED brand on night, the memory foam (if you can call it that) split where it contacts the bride of the nose and the foam was discolored after one use. The two pack I bought that was cheaper for two of the masks has performed so much better, so much for going with a name brand. Would not recommend.

Just Like My Store
This is the exact same thing that I get from my med supply store using my insurance. However I have a $1000 deductible and this is much faster, cheaper and I don’t have to deal with customer service. Just click and buy. I wear a bipap with VERY high pressures. The F20 is definitely the mask for me and I started with the silicone shell/insert. I have oily skin and between that and my pressures, I never made it more than 3-4hrs without having to wash my face and clean the shield again. When I found this one I was instantly intrigued but had doubts as to how a piece of foam would seal. It worked the very first time all night long. No waking to wash my face and mask. I use the cleaning wipes to clean mine. They’re fast and effective. According to the booklet it comes with it has a 28 day life. So you change it for a new one monthly basically. I have found that the tighter it is on my nose the faster the foam tears there. That is generally what happens when it’s time to replace it for me or it gets harder and harder to seal. I can always tell when it’s getting close to time for a new one. The foam splits right where it lays on the bridge of your nose. I DO NOT change mine automatically every 28 days. Sometimes I might get 30-40 days out of it but sometimes it’ll tear before 28 days. I CANNOT sleep without my bipap. So I usually buy 2 at a time and then always have a backup. It has been useful. It also says in the book not to soak the foam when cleaning it. I’m not usually a Manual Reader but I was trying to find a lifespan thus the info I just shared. If you’re like me and it’s not lasting a full 28 days, are you getting the foam wet or soaked at all? It causes the foam to break down sooner would be my guess as to why they discourage submerging it or running water on it in the manual. Even some of my wipes especially towards the end of the container will be so soaked compared to when it’s full that I actually have to squeeze the excess out before using it. I don’t find the cost to be that high. In fact ordering here is what $22 each and if I order thru my med supply store and insurance is charged the cost is $40+ and then I still pay part of that due to my high deductible. So much more worth it to do it here and bypass all that nonsense. Just FYI my pressures are 27/24. I know saying high doesn’t really help much as it’s not comparable to your actual numbers. Last thing I’ll say is on whether it leaves marks like the silicone versions and the answer is Yes. It was slightly less but still left marks. My straps do to but again with the higher pressures, I have to wear it pretty tight. It’s a minuscule price to pay for a night of sleep that doesn’t have me waking up multiple times an hour suffocating. Also, they go away even faster if I apply a cold wash cloth to my face for a couple mins after waking up. Hopefully this info will help you out. Good Luck on your sleep journeys.**Evidently the “Standard” size is a Medium. Dunno why they can’t just say that and save us all time looking for a Medium. Now you know.
