I’m very impressed with this laser level! The green laser is bright, sharp, and easy to see indoors, making it perfect for hanging pictures, installing shelves, and other DIY projects. The self-leveling feature works quickly and saves a lot of time, while the manual mode is great for creating angled lines when needed. The included tripod is sturdy and easy to adjust, making setup simple. Overall, this is a reliable, accurate, and user-friendly tool that offers excellent value for the price.

The green laser is plenty bright for typical indoor use. The self-leveling works great, but, as with other similar devices, you do have to have it close to level (within 4 degrees of level) for it to work. It will let you know if tolerances have been exceeded for the self-leveling to work. I also love that it has a manual mode so that it can be used for establishing straight lines other than level. I think it's a positive that it works on disposable batteries that are easy to replace because, when they run low, they can be immediately replaced rather than waiting for charge time. One thing I do with all of my devices that run on disposable batteries is to remove them whenever it's going to be a few days or more between use to avoid the potential of damage by a battery that happens to leak. I haven't had this device very long, but initial impression is that it is solidly built and good quality. This level is a great value for the price compared to other brands.

Our puppy escaped from a wire crate and a plastic crate in the first week we had her. We bought this as a last resort. The bars on this crate worked great but she was able to open both latches but chewing on them. The problem is the set screws on the latches are just pressure set. The dog was able to pull them out. I was able to solve this by extending the slot in the sliding bar of the latches. This aloud the set screws to go into the slot not just on top of the bar which prevents the bar from sliding. If you drill a whole in the sliding bar to extend the slot just a 1/4 inch the set screws will screw into the slot which prevents the bar from sliding no matter how much the dog chews on it. Its over a week and the dog has not been able to get out. If the latch was designed this way, I would give this 5 stars.

I was amazed when I saw the tripod for this level. It's easy to set up and very sturdy. With the self leveling feature this is so accurate and easy to use. I was hanging pictures and it has always been difficult to get them all even without marking up the wall. The laser gives a sharp, bright red line. All I had to do was measure the distance from one to the next along the line and all the pictures lined up perfectly. It also comes with a black bag that fits the tripod and level and just hung it on a hook in the closet. The tripod alone is worth the price. This is an easy 5 stars.

I picked this up before tackling a weekend project in my theater room, and it turned out to be one of the most useful tools I’ve purchased in a long time. The level works fine. It’s bright and simple to use. I got the one that comes with a tripod and it’s nearly useless, unless you plan to only use the level for objects that are really short. The tripod isn’t even tall enough to mount a mirror in the bathroom. Most objects that require a level are going to be shelving, mirrors, wall art, etc., all of which will be taller than the tripod, so there is really no point. Thankfully I’m a photographer and have several tripods that I can use instead. The tripod should be at least 6-7 feet tall, but it’s not.
