Will this work as a 7.83 hz (schumann resonance) generator to infuence ambient room frequency....or does this have totally unrelated applications?

First off I know nothing about the application that you are interested in using this for. That being said this unit doesn't have the ability to dial down to .83 hz only whole numbers. The output is DC square wave. Hope this helps.

how do you keep the control on frequency instead of keeping defaulting to duty cycle setting? It is very difficult to control frequency due to this.

This is not the pulse generator you are looking for. This is a fixed frequency, varible width PEM generator. I think what you are looking for is something like this:"Radio Control Servo ESC Consistency Digital Tester 1-4S for Speed Controller" or "Electronic Speed Controller Servo Tester ESC for RC Airplane Helicopters" Both on EBAA

how can I connect this device to speakers and what do I need to do so?

this is a frequency generator not a radio. even if you could all you would get is noise.

Will this work for a diy "chaterbox" which would push no more than 20-24v in a pulse format every 3-5 seconds. with 2 9v batteries as input?

As long as you do not have a load that draws more than 25ma

Great product for the price!

Worked as described, set to 128Hz and produced 127Hz with a 5V feed wire. Used on electronically controlled alternator, works perfect for setting voltage via duty cycle. 10/10 would buy again.

Great for fan speed control!

Bought this to rig up a manual pwm signal generator for the 4-pin pwm fans in a noisy homelab server. I powered it right off the 12V fan rail and ran the output to all the fans' control wires. Set the frequency to the one specified in the fan's datasheet, bam, works like a charm.
