Save your money this doesn't work!
My old cord was worn out and you had to hold it just right to get a good connections, when I plugged this cord it, it shuts my computer down! I went to a local store and bought the same cord and it works and functions as it should. This purchase was a waste of money and the product isn't any good, I recommend you save your money, don't make the same mistake I did.
