This is dessert!
Do not use this like other coffee. Buy the Vietnamese filters, which are small metal caps that fit on your cup. This is not just a different flavor--this is an experience.Save it for a morning when you are going to pamper yourself. Or for a morning with that special someone. If you are in a rush of any sort...DON'T use this. The best way is to put an inch of sweetened condensed milk in a cup first. Cover the cup with the metal filter. You add a tiny amount of boiling water, wait and then add more. Put the cap on. Now sit down in front of the fireplace, or after a fine meal, or for breakfast in bed and wait. Talk with others...when was the last time you did that? It is designed to drip slowly. When the water drips out, remove the top of the filter and turn it upside down so you can put the filter on it. Depending on if you moved the cup or not, you will only see the black coffee. If you moved it a bit, the sweetened condensed milk has begun to go to the top. This is a tiny cup. That is ok!Pick up your spoon. Put it in the cup and stir slowly. It changes from a dense black to a rich dark color. Set your spoon down and smell. Inhale deeply. You may never want to stop inhaling this.Take a tiny sip. Your tongue will come alive. This is not coffee--this is a dessert.....it's like a fine pastry.Relax. Take time between sips. Time will slip away. There are few experiences that are better than this. This really is luscious. Remember when people would go into the parlor for brandy, cognac, or grappa. You will almost think you should be wearing your finest evening wear for this.OK. I gush....maybe too much. The flavor of the coffee has spicy notes and almost is closer to chocolate. It really does make sense to have this using the vietnamese filters and to take your time. The worst thing about this is....running out.

Excellent flavor; too fine for my phin
I use a traditional Vietnamese phin to brew coffee. While this coffee has a wonderful flavor the grind is too fine for my phin. It can take nearly 10 minutes to finish brewing; using whole bean coffee and a burr grinder I can get as good a flavor with a 3-4 minute brew.

Truly terrible
This is flavored coffee not pure beans. The flavor is truly horrible, cheap, too sweet chocolate. The stuck on ingredients label says natural flavors. Natural isn’t the same as good or delicious.I can’t comment on the coffee as it is completely overwhelmed by the ‘natural flavors.’

Great tasting coffee but beware - this is ground coffee.
I can't knock of any points for my own mistake, but THIS COFFEE IS GROUND. For those of you that do not prefer ground coffee, such as myself, be aware of this. However, the coffee is still great tasting and has a very unique flavor. I use it with espresso filters.
