Love these trivets! No only are they pretty, they're a great size to hold hot pots, pans, and dishes; and they're thick enough to keep the table from becoming too warm. I've used them on a table with a plastic table cloth without problems. I've been using them daily for a couple of weeks now and they've held up very well. They're easy to wash if something is spilled on them. On a side note, don't try to carry something hot on them (even if you think you can be very careful to not put your fingers through the open areas) the design, while pretty, is a little too open weave to be able to carry something without getting burned. Lesson learned the hard way. Lol

I purchased these larger trivet mats to use under pots and pans. They are an excellent products. They are very thickl and strong and come in several different attrative patterns. I use them under mixing bowls and anything I do not want to slip around on my counter as well as under pots and pans. No strange smell to them at all. Wash by hand or in dishwasher. Very good prouct.

I purchased 3 diff brands of silicone trivets to compare. One was a (6) pk set and the other was a cheaper (3) pk. This Colinda brand ARE ALMOST TWICE AS THICK as the other (2). We want to protect our new quartz countertops while entertaining. The hot dishes won't slip like other material trivets: brass, wood, etc. They are a nice large dia. I like that the very ctr. Is solid for the best protection. The designs are stunning. We chose the gray which BTW is a true gray not a light gray. It's stunning on the white/ gray quartz countertops. Just FYI: The blue is a true deep bright navy blue. They are very attractive and are not cheap or cheesy looking. They are well worth the $5 ech price (pk 3) $15 and I think they'll last forever. I purchased (2) sets. I haven't tried them but I'm not concerned about heat resistance since they ARE THICKER. I will revise this review if I discover differently. I plan to buy more for gifts: clever, attractive & practical.

I love these trivets. I use them often for hot plates or pots. They are lightweight and durable. Very pretty design. Easy to wash and seem durable. Perfect size for my pots.
