I used to only get Zip lock brand bags due to off brands being lower quality or thinner material that would rip or leak. I discovered these a couple years ago and have reordered 3x. Such a good deal for the number of bags, and haven't had a single issue with leaks. I have used them for marinating overnight, freezing meat/vegetables, and meal prep instead of bulky containers. My only complaint is minimal - every once in a while the plastic where you open it starts tearing or stretches out too thin, when trying to open the seal. However, that has only happened with meal prep foods, where I am reopening the same bag several times a week. I just had to move a little further down the bag to open, and it worked fine. I can't complain though because that means the seal is working well, and that's why it doesn't leak!

Plus, you get BEAUCOUP for this LOW price! For some reason, I REALLY wasn't expecting THIS many bags! The price was so low, I thought it was going to be a regular sized box. When I got them in, I was ASTONISHED! What REALLY astonished me the MOST was just how THICK they are! I double-checked the box to make sure that these weren't FREEZER bags because they are so THICK! I just had to take some pictures with my name-brand freezer bag to show you! My freezer bag is used, but you can still see how they compare! Besides being so thick, they have a TIGHT seal! It's a double zipper. I was squeezing the bag hard when I took the picture of how tight the seal is! I was expecting these bags to be kind of like the store brand I sometimes get. I prefer a certain name brand, but when money is tight and I'm out of bags, sometimes I'll pick one of those up. I'm never as happy with them as my regular name brand, but when you gotta... you gotta.. Hahahaha! We were SLAP OUT of storage bags AND freezer bags. All I had left were sandwich bags and they aren't any good for the freezer or fridge long-term keeping something fresh. So.... I decided to give these a go and crossed my fingers. LET. me. tell. YOU! THESE are going to be my go-to bags from NOW ON! Not ONLY are they really thick and strong, but they are an incredible value, too! If you are a die-hard name brand buyer like I WAS, YOU are going to switch to these for GOOD!

These work and are the same thing as name brand in size, durability and zipper closure. Why pay for brand these work great and are a better value for your money

Excellent quantity for this Price It's So versatile as well I use it for storage of food storage of pet snacks storage of soap or washcloth when going to the gym and it's portability is excellent it's stabilized it's strong a Ziploc holds it does not leak and it's stability is adorable I've stored heavy stuff is it liquid stuff this is a good purchase at an affordable price and this lasts a long time

These are good for the price cause you get a lot of bags per dollar but compared to name brand bags these arent anywhere near the same quality. These a lot thinner and a little smaller than name brand and the part were they seal isnt as thick so it might not hold liquids as well. I bought these for sorting lego bricks so they served my purpose well enough but one big problem was the white print they put on the bag. It seems to easily rub off with the smallest amount of pressure, just grabbed a new bag in the picture ran my finger over the print and as you can see it just flaked off and leaves a mess. It seems like half the pack was like this while the other half was fine, must have been a problem in production and quality control seems to not be ad good as the leading brands. These are great if you need something cheap in great quantities, but if you want something thats gonna last and you might wanna reuse maybe name brand is worth the increase in price. Pros: Good price you get a lot more bags per dollar. Cons: thinner feeling bags, slightly smaller than expected, and might suffer from quality control issues.

I’ve been using these Amazon brand gallon storage bags for a while now and they definitely deserve 5 stars from me. They’re a great value, and honestly I’m not sure why I would spend extra money on name brands when these do the exact same thing. We use them all the time for marinating chicken and other meats for dinner, transporting cut veggies, and general food storage. I’m also a teacher and use them to store candy and treats at school, and I’ve never had issues with them ripping or the seal coming undone. Another thing I like is that they’re durable enough to reuse multiple times. I even use them to freeze homemade dog treats, and the bags hold up really well in the freezer without tearing or leaking! They are odor resistant and keep odors contained, as well and keep liquids inside when sealed. The box they come in is quite large so it doesn’t fit in my normal freezer bag drawer but that’s because it is a bulk amount so I cannot complain. Overall, these are dependable, versatile, and a really good buy for the price.

I am really impressed with these Amazon Basics storage bags. They are honestly just as good as the big name brand ones I usually buy, but at a much better price. The double zipper seal works great, and they feel just as durable. I'll definitely be purchasing these again instead of the more expensive options.
