Its a simple but effective crusher. We have processed 300 lbs of wine grapes so far with no issues. Saved us a lot of time.

The screws were ridiculous to try and use. I may have used bad language while putting this together! Use a screw driver with a magnet

I wasn't sure how much apple cider processing I'd want to do, so I purchased the cheapest versions that I could find of cider processing equipment. This took a little effort to assemble, though not too much, and it works great.The one negative is that the very narrow tines on the side of fruit box will get bent in from normal use and then the gears contact them, making a loud clicking sound. You can just bend them back into place though. We'll see how many times that works before they come off.Even though it was the cheapest one I could find on Amazon, it felt like $100 was too much to pay for this item, but maybe that's just the world now.

I'll get right to it... this thing was an absolute PITA to assemble. The instructions are practically worthless and the screws are like the ones for eyeglasses.... RIDICULOUSLY SMALL!!!If you do somehow manage to slap this thing together it won't 'crush' anything! It has two internal drums with fins... not teeth... that don't even intermesh. So you end up with waffle fry shaped slices of fruit. Even if you ran it through a second time it still doesn't get the job done!Plus, no handle to grab when you turn the crank, and you literally have to feed individual apple slices into the so-called grinder because even if you cut it into 8ths they just roll around on top.Bottom line is this thing is absolutely worthless!

i use this for choke cherries and there small so i had to revamp a lot of things!but it works great!

Crushes the apples really well and is easy to use.

It works well. Assembly was somewhat pesky but still managed. Pictures for assembly are really small and it makes it difficult to follow which direction the flaps get tucked into each other. Crushes apples very well though and made cider pressing much easier.

I bought this to chunk apples that I will be using to make apple juice and apple cider. It was easy to put together and it works just fine.
