I've had this about a month and I use it all the time. I live in a small apartment and can't get to the laundromat every day to wash my work uniform, so this is perfect. It's not as loud as I was expecting based on the other comments, but it does shake and wants to rotate the entire machine when in the spin cycle, but that can be avoided by either holding it down with your hand or placing it in the styrofoam base that it ships in. The tube for filling it with water that comes with it doesn't fit on any faucet in my apartment (it's small and made of inflexible plastic), but seeing as how I place it in the tub anyways, my regular showerhead hose works just fine. I would do what others have said here and only add a little detergent (like, half a Tide pod, not a whole one), otherwise you'll have to rinse way too many times.The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a lint trap, and when you take your (clean) clothes out, they still have hair and schmutz all over them, requiring either a lint roller after drying or some of those little velcro-covered ping pong balls (they sell on eBay for like a dollar or two, just search "laundry balls") to be thrown in with the clothes during washing to collect the fuzz.I did have a small issue when I first set it up. I plugged it in and turned the dial and heard a noise, but nothing else happened. I emailed the company and the emailed back the next day asking me to send a video so they could see what was happening. Turns out, I just needed to reset my outlet, but I was impressed at the quick response from the company and their willingness to help.Overall, well worth the money and I HIGHLY recommend it.UPDATE: I've had this for several months now and used it many times. The only issue I have with it is that the cord isn't long enough to reach my bathroom outlet (which really isn't far from my tub, so it's a pretty short cord), meaning that I have to use an extension cord with a converter in order to get it to reach, and because I'm using an extension cord with a converter, to outlet trips every couple minutes, meaning I have to keep going into the bathroom repeatedly to reset the outlet and start the machine again. Super annoying when you're trying to do other things while your clothes are washing. But, not a dealbreaker.Other than that, it works great and clothes come out clean and smelling good. Still wish it had a lint trap, but those little velcro laundry balls work well enough for that. Still a great product and I don't regret spending the money on it at all. Highly recommend!

Immidately noticed pros, very small and easily fits on countertop, and is very easy to store. Cons immidately noticed after first use and all following uses, takes just as much water as other mini washers that I've used in the past and can only wash half the amount of cloths with more time. The spin cycle is nowhere near fast enough, all the cloths come out still dripping wet (literally) after just one spin cycle, most cloths need to be spun for about 15 minutes which is why it takes much longer than other mini washers on Amazon. The removable basket for spinning the cloths is always being flung out of place even when the clothes are in evenly causing damage to the basket with every use.Update 8-12-18I don't know what happened to it but when it's tumbling the clothes around in water, the thing hardly moves the cloths. They just move by about 10° in one direction before it agitates in the other direction for again 10°. The cloths still spin just as *not* well despite the lack of agitation.Update 3-8-19Wound up throwing away the washer several months ago and purchased another one of the mini washers that I had prior to this one. In sheer retrospect, this was a terrible purchase simply because it did not clean the clothes. It just would not ever clean them adquately and it would also never spin them adquately. I had to throw away numerous articles of clothing due to mold and mildew and similar problems from this machine essentially just getting them wet and leaving them wet. I prefer to hang dry my cloths but even *if* you were to put the cloths into a dryer one load of this washer would take several cycles just to be able to hang dry. I know this because I literally did that. And the thing is so small you can hardly wash two shirts at a time! Just put that into perspective with taking so long to dry in a dryers. It's too small and too low quality to possibly be worth the money to purchase this item.

Here is her review.For the common sense person, with a sense of humor.I wanted a small counter top washer, I just can’t spend an hour hand washing masks or soaking stained cloths any more. Too much damage to the skin on my hands.To start with, if you think you can wash a pair of jeans or heavy fabric pants, in it. Think again. You will get a pair of very wet, soap filled pants. HOWEVER, it is AWESOME those small things that you don’t want to run a full-size washer for or don’t have one and just need to clean some light weight items.Second, the fill and drain hoses: Well, frankly they could spend the same amount of money on a stretch nozzled hose that would actually fit ANY spigot. Both are short, the drain hose 12inches? Too Short to place on the floor and still be attached to a water input nozzle or a drain. Per the directions for use, you are supposed to place on floor… Seriously?? who has a drain or 5-gallon bucket that is only 4inches or less to the floor, because the drain hose is exactly that far from the bottom of the machine. Not sure that was exactly well thought out. Thank goodness I was using this on my kitchen counter. If your setting it up in a walk-in shower or bathtub, your golden.With that little negative out of the way, I did have a GREAT time reading the Directions to my husband. Written in another Language, someone had the HOT idea of using Google Translator instead of a REAL English as a first language person to translate it. It is actually entertaining enough to purchase this machine just to read it. Bonus PurchaseSo, I did set it up on my kitchen counter. Luckily its very Level. It can and does take a little walk during the wash and spin. I just put a kitchen towel under it, eliminating the sky diving attempts.If you have been hand washing specific items prior to using this machine, my suggestion is to NOT add any soap to the load till after it starts the agitation. I was slightly mortified by ALL the suds. Took 2 rinses to get it out.Fill Wash /Rinse swap. I just used my faucet hose from the sink to fill. Drained out fast.I only filled to the minimum line, for items and water. It was very quiet for the amount of vigorous washing it does. Again, it does wiggle walk, so if you are placing on counter instead of floor, take “Sky diving” prevention measures.The spin basket works well, you do need to wring or squeeze your items before putting them in, or else you will be spinning forever. Also, you really do need to use the small basket lid provided. Your items will fly out of it if you don’t, and this could potentially break/shorten the life of the machine. Yes, I really did it. Mostly because the directions… Things do get lost in Google translation……I happened to standing right there when it happened.Cool Feature – During the wash or spin mode, if you lift the lid all the way up, it stops. However, the timer doesn’t… Be Alert.If you do not want to wring out cloths before spinning them, this is not the machine for you.While some of the functions could be just a little more refined. This was a great buy at a reasonable price, for what we needed. I am glad I did my research.

I got this on a whim for an RV that I don't actually own yet but I wanted to practice being off-grid. Some solar panels, camping gear, and this washer later, reality hit that it's just not going to happen any time soon. I had practiced doing laundry with this washer a few times but then tucked it away in my closet and nearly forgot it. Then my real washing machine broke... on a weekend... when everyone in the house needed to do laundry and one of them was sick and one had just returned from travel with extra laundry! The parts to fix the machine had to be ordered, so we were just without a washer until I remembered this little machine. I will say it is a real pain doing a whole family's laundry only 1 outfit at a time (I'm exaggerating a bit, but it is taking a really long time). But it's working.Here's how I use the machine: I set it in the (empty) bathtub. Be very careful, of course because of water and electricity and all that. The bathtub had a slight slope to the drain and I run an extension cord and loop it over the bathroom door so it keeps the cord up. To fill, just put in the clothes, a LITTLE BIT of detergent, and put it under the faucet to fill with water. I never use the inlet hose. Set it for 10 minutes. Come back and put the side hose down into the tub drain to empty water. Fill under the faucet with clean water for the rinse and set another 10 minutes. Empty out hose directly into tub drain again. Then it gets tedious but you get used to it. Not all the wet clothes fit in the spin basket, so I get a bucket to put the sopping wet clothes in and just put about half of it in the spin basket. Make sure the spin basket snaps in place and put the round plastic disc over top. Set for about 3 to 5 minutes on spin but honestly I just watch how much water is trickling out of the hose and down the tub drain until it seems like there's really not any water coming out anymore; then I just go ahead and turn off the timer even if it hasn't been 3 to 5 minutes yet. The spin does fine considering how small this unit is. The spin isn't a dryer; it's just like the spin on a regular machine but weaker because this is a small plastic machine. Clothes come out rung out enough that I could air dry them. I have a few pieces I always air dry anyway and I found that with this washer it just takes a little longer to finish air drying but it's still a reasonable timeframe. It's not like the clothes are dripping puddles on the floor or anything; they are just still a bit damper than coming out of a regular machine.My favorite detergent to use in this is called Rockin Green. It's a good detergent anyway, but I think I prefer it in this tiny machine because it doesn't suds much -and therefore doesn't take multiple rinses to get all the soap out - yet still does a good job at cleaning. Clothes come out smelling, feeling, and looking clean.So glad I had this sitting in a closet already when we found ourselves without a regular washer suddenly. Would definitely recommend this for anyone concerned being prepared for the unexpected, but also for people without a ton of laundry, or living in a small space. When I expected to use this machine off grid, I'd researched the power consumption, it's about 170 watts, so with a 200Wh solar 'generator,' I could run this thing for about an hour, which should be plenty for 2 loads. The biggest challenge for using this off grid would be having enough fresh water (and a place to drain the gray water).Hope this helps someone.

Arrived a few days earlier than expected. Started using it right away, with no problems. The next day, after 1 spin cycle it would not turn again. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I contacted customer service. I received response fairly quickly. And we reached a compromise.Besides that the washer worked well, clothes were clean. I'd recommend getting a seperate spinner. This spin cycle works, just not as well or fast as a seperate machine. My daughter's clothes (6 years old- light items) took a couple of hours to try. I used a fan, due to poor ventilation in bathroom.Update 7/29/20Turns out the belt had fallen off and so nothing would spin. Easy fix right? Yeah, well then bc I had taken the bottom off of course things were not put together in perfect place. So water would leak from the bottom despite the drain hose being upright. After another use or two I also came to realize the motor was no longer up to par. Clothes no longer agitate, it's more just a spin back n forth deal. Also, I can no longer use the "spin" cycle because it would cause the belt to fall off.Unfortunately not a good first portable washer experience for me. But I'm not gonna be one of those ppl who I automatically give it a 1 star. It did work as intended originally. I guess some machines are just hit or miss.

I am living full-time in a small RV and I hate laundromats! I have used this machine for almost half a year now in my RV, regularly twice a week, and here is my take-away:It is certainly a hands-on experience, you can't just stand by and wait on it, especially with the spin cycle when the machine really takes off. It requires active participation like at a sports tournament.. wrestling perhaps!My one load isn't big - two women's outfits, shirt, underwear and leggings, for example. If I have jeans, that is one load alone!Another load might be a few pair of socks, underwear and two thin microfiber towels. Because I need to watch my water use in the RV, every load is only about 10 gallons (1 wash and two rinses- I marked my 3 gallon capacity with a marker and stick to it. Minimum use per manual is 3 gallons per wash/rinse, max is 5 gallons. So obviously, I am on the low side hence the small loads.One entire load takes me one hour, and that is because I might do something else while washing and sometimes when the wash or rinse stops after 10 minutes, I let it go another 10 minutes. But pretty consistently three loads take 3 hours for me, from start to finish when I hang the load.The spin cycle is really great and does its job and usually I never have anything dripping. In the summer clothing will dry in one day. I am limited in the amount of hanging space so that's why my washes were more frequent in the summer. Now in November my laundry takes forever to dry so I have to be creative. I do my wash in my RV and then drive to a laundromat nearby and just use their dryer. Last time it was just 40minutes/$2 for my three (small) loads. And yeah, as I said I hate laundromats. But at least I didn't need to first fiddle with their expensive washing machines, then transfer everything to the dryers. I bring my wet clothing to the laundromat in a couple of (clean) trash bags.The dryer gets rid of the fuzz/lint that is on the clothing. If you just let it air dry, there will be lots of lint left so be conscious to not wash your socks (lots of fuzz there) with your favorite shirts, for example. In the end, the laundry comes out quite nice and smelling good, depending on the soap you used.As far as energy consumption goes. I boondock (no hookups at all) most of the time and have a small 500W inverter. That seems to be adequate. My solar system and 200ah of batteries can handle a three hour use of this machine even in rainy weather.When I do laundry, I make sure to start with full freshwater tanks and empty grey tanks. I park near the dumpstation as after my three loads (30 gallons of water used!), I have to dump my grey tank again.It's all a hassle but honestly, I love this little thing. It's an experiment every time!

I needed something that fit easily in a closet and had a 2-in-1 feature. This machine works perfectly and I am an absolute fan of this machine! I love it so much that I'm leaving a detailed review b/c I know how challenging it is to find.-This beats hand washing by a mile. Do not expect a fully automated machine because this a glorified "hand" washing bucket. If you want 100% automated you need to look at the other products on the market. For this mini machine, you still have to manually fill, drain, and spin-wring "dry" to get the water out of the clothes.-The shipping box is not hidden, so you can see COSTCO on it (warning if you trying to be conspicuous). The lid of my machine is a tiny bit cracked but doesn't affect the function. I will be reaching out to the company.-I've only used this for 2 days (6 loads), so I cannot attest to the longevity of the machine (I hope it lasts). Each load can handle a certain weight of clothing (specified in the description). I eye-balled it and went with what I thought was appropriate to allow for space to clean and water to move around. If the items are too heavy you will hear the motor struggle. An example, I was able to wash 3 gym shorts, 3 tank tops, 2 t-shirts, and 3 pairs of socks with no problem. I've also washed jeans, towels, and sweaters.Few warnings:-The machine does rock a little bit when washing and you must be careful to balance the clothes evenly when using the spinner (just like a regular washing machine).-The black feet on the machine leaves black marks on the tub (i didn't have a problem cleaning it after), but I recommend putting it on a mat instead of directly on the tub.-The machine causes a lot of lint to collect on the clothes so I use a reusable lint remover to get the lint off. It's another trade-off. Other machines have a lint trap but are bigger machines.-The hose that comes with it is a cheap plastic hose, but they sell better quality hoses on amazon for a cheap price.-Pre-Soak: This machine works within reason. If you have very soiled clothing, you must pre-soak it. You can soak it in the machine or somewhere else then transfer the clothes to the machine.-You will likely need an extension cord to reach an outlet.You can stop reading from here if you know how this thing works...How it works:-Simple enough, you fill it with water and you drain it by the drain hose. The hose works by gravity so your mini-machine needs to be higher than where you are draining the water into. Check out youtube videos for a tutorial!-Only use 1-3 tablespoons of detergent-The machine alternates spinning clockwise and counterclockwise during the washing cycle as a way to slosh around the clothes to clean it. There is a 10-minute washing timer and a 5-minute spin "dry" timer. The knob function is simple. You turn it to the time you want to use and you can manually turn it to 0 if you want to prematurely stop it. The spin basket is smaller so you will not be able to fit all the clothes you washed into the spin basket (you will have to do multiple loads to spin), but it's a trade-off for the small footprint machine.Where to use it:I've tested the machine in two settings and both work fine.1) In the bathtub and by filling it up with a bucket (much faster in my opinion).2) In the kitchen attached to the sink faucet with draining into a bucket.-As long as you keep the water within the min and max lines, the water is contained well within the machine so you don't have to worry about spilling water everywhere.-The instructions recommend to do it in the bathtub to be safe. If you choose to do it anywhere besides in the tub, you will have to drain the water into a bucket.-When putting it in the bathtub, I simply put it in the tub and let the hose down whenever I need to drain it. There is no concern about the cord hitting the water.My person recommendation:For washing: I usually set it twice (20-minutes) for my first round of cleaning or Then I go through one cycle for rinsing. I have purchased washer silicon machine balls to throw in and agitate the water more, but it's not necessary. I've done a few loads without and the clothes are very clean.For spinning: I fill up the basket about halfway, put the plastic accessory on top of the clothes to keep them from flying away, and set the spin timer. One spin cycle gets the clothes to a point better than I could get it with wringing by hand.

I suppose this could be a godsend for those without a washing machine at home. However, I'm lucky enough to have a washing machine and dryer of my own. I bought this item to wash small items that need to be washed on their own. I don't trust myself to do a good enough job hand washing. Specifically, I bought a silk pillowcase as Costco and wanted to keep it clean because the whole point is it's supposed to be better for your skin and hair and dirty isn't going to help.Reader, it destroyed my brand new silk pillowcase. There were a couple of snags and a seam came undone. Now, I'm sure that this wouldn't have happened if the pillowcase was super high quality. And I didn't check for damage before I washed. But Costco stuff is usually pretty good.It was also a pain to use. The directions were terrible, so I had to wing it a bit. I'm not sure what kind of faucet the water inlet hose is supposed to secure over, because it's pretty tiny. So I just filled the bucket directly with the handheld shower head.Do NOT use this in an area that would be damaged by getting wet. Put it in the shower or tub. It leaks. I even only filled it to the minimum.There also aren't instructions for how much detergent to use. I settled on a small trickle of HE detergent. Even that was too much. It took way too many times to rinse and I still didn't get it all out. I'm sure I used much more water than I would have used if I'd just put the single pillowcase in my front loader.Also, the spin cycle didn't dry that well. It was OK, but I can't imagine it working for any type of larger items or thick cloth.If you need something to get you some clean undies till the next trip to the laundromat and your undies aren't delicate, this might be fine. Otherwise, I would recommend avoiding.

Let me get straight to the point here: Amazing machine, but probably only for technically minded people. What I mean is that it can be hard to set it up properly so that it works smoothly and steadily.FIRST OFF It will shake vigorously (especially in spin mode) so you need to attach it to something firmly. If you don't it will flail wildly and fall off your counter. HOWEVER you should note: There is a way to load the spin dryer properly that makes a HUGE difference! I've noticed if you just chuck stuff into it, it'll shake violently. But if you load stuff so that its lining the sides of the basket, with everything evenly spaced around the sides, it will shake MUCH less. I believe this is extremely important information everyone should know about. It makes a massive difference.Now that being said, I used double-sided tape to attach the feet to something and that is working great for me. However, if you just tape it right to a solid surface connected to your house, it will vibrate that part of your house pretty loudly. So if you're in a cramped apartment building you might not want to do that. What I did is I double-side taped it to a smooth wood board, and then put that on top of an old t-shirt (which is on the counter beside my bathtub). So this way the board can vibrate a lot without making a ton of noise. I also have a shelf on the side so it's impossible for it to fall off the counter - you'd likely also want some kind of extra blocker or support.Once you have it well set up with shake supports and rags or vibration and whatnot, its fine. You can absolutely turn it on and walk away - I have been every day. But I have mine well set up to be able to do so. I can see reviews from other people where they said they can't leave it unattended or they have to hold it the whole time - that's obviously just because they 1) didn't know how to securely attach it down to something to stop the shaking, and 2) didn't know that you have to load the spin dryer basket a certain way in order for it to not shake. Not that people can be blamed for this - the instructions don't even mention any of this.There's also the matter of attaching the hose itself. If you're lucky then the rubber-ended side of the hose will stretch over your bath faucet and it should be easy. But it might not. For me I had to unscrew the bath faucet tip and place the hose inside with a tiny rubber gasket over the hose to make a seal (So its a lot of work to re-attach it if it gets yanked out.. but I live alone and I don't really use the bath faucets.) But anyway keep in mind that it's possible a trip to a local hardware store, to buy little rubber gaskets or faucet adapters, MIGHT be necessary if you want the hose attachment to work properly.So my review is I highly approve, but you should understand what you're buying. If you're expecting a simple "out-of-the-box" experience, you might consider looking at one of the smaller and simpler types of these machines. This one is rather heavy-duty as far as portable washers go and thus its gonna require more set-up. But it also washes like a BEAST. This thing gets my clothes so clean it is amazing. The actual process of using it is a joy. Once you have it set up and working it's amazing. But unless you're the sort of person that has an easy time putting together IKEA furniture, this might not be the best fit for you.

J'ai acheté cette mini laveuse pour ma mère de 86 ans qui en désirait une. Je l'ai fait livrer chez elle et elle a reçue une boite qui avait déjà été ouverte et la laveuse à l'intérieur n'était même pas envelopper dans un plastique. La laveuse ne fonctionnait pas alors nous avons décidé de la retourner. Costway m a retourné un étiquette où nous devions payer le retour. J'ai donc parlé chez amazon pour que la compagnie m envoi un étiquette pré-affranchi et ils ont demandé à Costway de le faire. Là Costway voulais avoir des photos et une vidéo du problème. Ce que j ai refusé car ma mère, n'habitant pas dans la même ville que moi, était incapable de faire tout ca à son age et en plus qu'ils avaient essayé de nous refiler une boite ouverte avec une machine défectueuse. Finalement ils nous ont remboursé et on a pas eu a retourner la machine. Costway a éviter. Dommage car elle semblait parfaite pour ma mère. J'ai essayé de la réparer mais la courroie débarque constamment quand elle est au cycle pour essorer. Probablement pour cette raison que la personne qui l'avait déjà l'a retourné et n'en voulais pas.

Nice size for small use and portable, easy to use. The hose inlet plastic is a bit low quality so it does not hold great if you connect it to a faucet, you need to hold it. The washing power is great, gives a good toss and rinse. The spinner is small and even if you put one or two items it does not fully wring out the water, could definitely be improved...my hands could wring out a lot more water than this.

Petite machine à laver, très pratique qui ne prend pas de place. Mes petits conseils : la mettre sur du plat (non dans la baignoire) pour ma part j'ai mis sur le plan de travail, pour être à plat/proche de l'évier/proche de la prise de courant.Pour l'essorage, il faut que vous vidiez l'eau dans l'évier, une fois fait vous accrochez le tuyau à sa place, vous sortez tous les vêtements mouillés dans une banette et part petite quantité vous en mettez un peu dans le panier d'essorage que vous fermez bien avec le couvercle puis vous lancer l'essorage, vous étendez le linge essoré, puis vous reprenez une petite quantité de linge mouillé pour le mettre dans le panier d'essorage ainsi de suite. Une tournée de linge me demande 3x essorages. Ça vibre donc soit vous la tenez fermement le temps de l'essorage (qui dure à peine 5min) soit vous la regardez voyager tranquillement haha!Aussi par précaution mettez un petit linge sous la machine à laver, quelques gouttes peuvent tomber ! Gain de temps, c'est la vie de pouvoir laver son linge quand on veut ! Foncez ! =}
