Strong Like Bull
So I had a separate idea / project from what this is intended for.No wasnt securing a perimeter door - rather I made something else... that required I cut with a metal grinder the bar it came with...Long story short - the magnet is strong holding TWO pieces (from the original 1 bar) together and the circuit is straight forward to wire up.Great value and kit you get back!

Not 600lb rating!!!!! Not strong!!!!
I put this lock on my door and it does “lock” but anything more than 10% effort opens the door. It is 100% not a 600lb rating. I have one already and it’s not physically possible to open by hand/force. Waste of $30 .. knew it was too good to be true. The slots for the mounting bracket are also too small for raul plugs so finding a screw that fits happily inside (small hole means small screw which means WEAK!) even if it had a 600lb rating, the screws would probably rip off first.
