I bought this for post eye surgery protection during showering. I’m happy to report that I don’t have to worry at all about anything falling into my eyes during shampooing. This is a great relief since I thought I might have to go to a hair salon. The shield fits across my hair line and curves down to completely shield my eyes from splashing. The adhesive works well but doesn’t irritate my skin. I believe it would be reusable for several times, but it is a good value for the cost even if I only use each one once.

Excellent! Needed something after eye surgery to protect from water getting in the eyes. These work great. The adhesive strip stays nice and snug. Just remember, it comes off a bit like a Band-Aid. :)

Put the mask on with dry, clean face. Less than 2 minutes in the shower and the mask fell off. Dried off & tried another, same thing. Can not recommend.

Two weeks ago I had cataract surgery in one eye, in two days I'll have surgery for the other eye. I saw these face shields recommended in an online cataract group when people where asking how to keep water out of the post-surgical eye when showering or hair washing. I've used these shields for the first week after surgery, along with using common sense in my shower (keeping my back to the water, using the handheld shower attachment as needed, keeping a towel close by to dab the eye if any water drips, etc.). The shield works well, but is a very thin plastic and the adhesive stays on as long as water, soap or perhaps body oils don't accidentally dislodge it. I only had one shield eventually slide off. For use after my upcoming cataract surgery, I'll add some medical paper tape (the same that's used on the actual eye shield after surgery) to ensure the face shield stays on. I am impressed that so many shields come in the package so it will be more than enough to get me through both cataract surgeries.

GREAT for post-operative eye surgery! I had corneal transplant surgery & can't get water in my eye for about a month. These work great for protecting my eye so that I can wash my hair myself. When I had my first eye done in March my husband had to get in the shower with me to wash it while I held a dry washcloth over my eye. That was a pain. You will need to use extra white surgical tape to keep the shield in place to make it through the shower without it coming off. But that is an easy remedy for keeping the shield secure. Nice that you get so many since I will need to use them for a while. I certainly recommend them with just this one up cycle! Hope this helps someone looking for a way to keep eyes dry!
