This product definitely exceeded my expectations. The lenses are clear and seem to be high quality. It’s far lighter than I expected and even after a couple of hours doesn’t bother me. If I have one complaint it is there’s a little play in the flip up mechanism no issues with 2x and lower but higher magnification just that little movement can lead to suddenly out of focus. Not an issue as I pretty much stick with 1.5 and 2x. I should mention the light. It has two intensity levels. The first I didn’t find very impactful but at the brighter level it helps with shadows especially in the evening.

Nice headset magnifier with an assortment of lenses in a handy case which keeps everything neatly together.The headset is comfortable to wear and the lenses are easy to change.It can even be used with eyeglasses.This is just the help you need to see the fine details on the things you are working on.I use mine to help me repair fishing reels and for fly tying.I’ve also use it to remove splinters.Use it once and you’ll wonder why you waited so long to get it.You’ll also be coming up with lots of other uses for it.A great addition to any workshop.Enjoy seeing like you used to.Cheers !

January 2025 update:I've been using these on and off for about a year and a half. A couple of things have come to my attention that are worth passing along. One the lenses very easily pop out of the little clamp on the glasses themselves. Lucky I haven't broken one or lost one. But the fit could be more snug.Just today I noticed a pain while wearing the glasses. Turns out the little rubber cushion on the nose piece tour. These are very soft and do not hold up for very long. This would not be a problem if Replacements could be purchased. I haven't seen them. Caveat emptor.Great aid in my model ship building process. But it turns out that I really only use the lowest magnification lens in this set. The flashlight is underpowered and sort of pointless, but I imagine that some might find it useful.I wear this pretty much all the time I'm in my hobby shop working on my model, so it is comfortable. Perhaps when I get to the fine points of the project, rigging the ship, I'll benefit from more magnification, but for now, I find I've got to keep the work too close to my face with these lenses.I'm glad I got the Vision Aid glasses and hope I'll use more than just the one lens eventually.

I bought this while going through the Powerplant phase of my A&P certification. We were working on propellers and riffling and sanding nicks out of the blades. I have pretty good eyesight, but to assure that I had eliminated all trace of the defects I ordered these magnifiers. After scrolling through various offerings these appeared to fit the bill so I hit buy now. I really like the rechargeable internal battery for the illumination. The lenses provide a wide field of view while the light weight and adjustable nose pad provide a comfortable using experience. The case is sturdy and keeps everything neat and clean. If anything were to happen to this magnifier I would definitely replace it with another of the same. The value for price is very good.

These are awesome. I have worn-out several of them due to constant use...approximately 18 hours a day of use. I know that when I get to the strongest magnification it is time to see the eye doctor again. I am legally blind and this is a great tool to help me get through a year between visits.I love the fact that I can plug into my computer each night and in the morning they are charged and ready for whatever my day brings me.The case travels great and also helps keep those terrible scratches that my glasses get.I have bought around6 of these and will continue to purchase these as I wear them out.
