Thermal Spray 22 High Hold – Heat Protection

READ DIRECTIONS: THIS IS FOR CURLING ONLY!! DO NOT USE THIS HEAT PROTECTANT TO GIVE YOURSELF A STRAIGHT OR BLOWOUT STYLE!!!! This has SUPER, INTENSE hold. I only use it PRIOR to curling my hair and only use it a section at a time because it is sticky and has a VERY STRONG HOLD. It works best before air-styling my hair and using the coanda curling attachment on my Shark Glam. It does a great job at protecting my hair and keeping the curl. I spray it, brush it, curl it, and then I pin the curl up. After I'm done, then I take the pins out after it has set and run my fingers through it. You won't be able to brush your hair due to the hold, but if holding a curl and longevity is what you are after, this is for you. It also SMELLS AMAZING!! I want a perfume that smells this good!

When I realized this product was to be used on dry hair, I almost returned it. I had just gotten a Brazilian blowout and my hair was poker straight. In fact, it was so straight, I bought a Wavetalk Thermal Brush to give it some body. Enter the Redken Thermal Spray. It works so well with this brush and smells great. I can now get some curl or body back into my hair without singe or burning and I'm in the frizz-free zone.

I’ve been using this before blow drying and curling, and it’s been great. The mist is lightweight and doesn’t leave my hair greasy or sticky, which is something I can’t stand with a lot of styling products. It adds a nice shine and keeps everything in place without making my hair feel stiff. The fragrance is pleasant but not overpowering, and the bottle size is decent since you don’t need much each time. My style lasts all day, and I’ve noticed less frizz and fewer flyaways. For anyone looking for heat protection with a strong hold that still lets your hair feel like hair, this one is worth trying.

Didn't work for my shiny, fine, straight long hair. Extremely drying and stripped the shine off of my hair. I have done three moisture deep conditioning treatments since using this one time with hot rollers, and I still have dried out tangley brittle hair. It didn't really help hold the curl anymore than using a mousse and hairspray does, I was expecting some serious hold on the curls and bounce. It held curl a bit, but not worth it due to super drying and damaging.

Well this is a tricky product to use (at least for me) it “hardens” quite quickly in my hair after I spray it. I have to spray in sections and brush it out quickly otherwise it’s impossible to brush or style. But I really do notice a big difference in how long my curls hold when I use this— that makes it worth it to me to use. Also be careful what you’re wearing when you spray this product in your hair because it stains. I’ve ruined a couple of shirts by styling my hair with this. It also does not smell great. But again, it works. So pros and cons….

You know, I’ve used. Reskin Thermal Spray for many years but have never given a review. This stuff is amazing. I couldn’t live without it. My hair is fine thin and gray and without this I couldn’t do anything with it. If you have hair like mine. This stuff is a must. At least, give it a try.

Not ideal for using with a flat iron, but great for curling hair. Think of this as a hair spray that also provides heat protection. You spray it on dry hair, style it and the hair gets a strong hold. It feels sticky while its drying and goes away after styled and fully dry. Unfortunately, I bought this to use with a straightening iron so I have no use for it 😓

I have super fine hair and this works great when using any heat. It can be a little crunchy but brushes right out. Has a subtle smell but I like it

My hair usually gets oily in 1 day when I style it it lasted 3 days and the hold was amazing!! I straighten my hair and it didn’t budge it didn’t curl back for 3 days amazing the only thing is that it’s a little stiff/sticky

I’ve been using this for years! I have very long, heavy, thick hair and it does NOT hold a curl for the life of me, but when i use this spray my hair smells nice, holds curls or shape, and is protected from heat damage!! I highly recommend

This heat protectant is absolutely awful. It made my hair feel extremely dry and sticky, leaving it clumped together instead of smooth. It performed terribly and was a huge disappointment. I definitely do not recommend it. Save your money, it’s not worth buying.

I love this! And it works! I have thick hair and this thermal spray is wonderful. If you apply it right it does not leave any gross texture on your hair
