This YETI chug cap works great! It fits perfectly and feels very durable and well-made. I love how easy it is to drink from, especially when you’re on the go. The design is simple but really effective, and it doesn’t leak.

I have two stainless Yeti bottles (20 and 32the 20oz for coffee and 32oz for water) I took on my last deployment to Afghanistan in 2017 and have used them everyday since. But the basic top (with the handle) was a little messy every time you unscrewed it to take a drink. It worked fine but along came this cap. I personally thought with the cap being two pieces it would be easy to lose but because of the simple design I find it to be the perfect cap. Even with gloves or dirty hands I can easily unscrew the top, take a drink and close the bottle while keeping the drink part clean and secure. Fast forward to today. I work as an RN (I’m also a combat medic in the national guard) and I use these bottles everyday and I love the caps just as much. I love how the design is simple (nothing to break), nothing leaks, keeps the mouth part clean and has a sturdy handle to grab on. I can throw the bottle in my bag or truck and never worry about leaks. My only complaint is the bottom part of the cap secures so well it is sometimes a pain to unscrew but better at least it doesn’t leak. This one of those products I use everyday and is defiantly a game changer. Would definitely buy again!

Honestly, this little chug cap is one of those simple upgrades that makes the bottle way more convenient. It screws on solid, doesn’t leak, and the nylon feels tough enough to handle daily use without feeling cheap or flimsy. I like how easy it is to just twist open and chug water quickly—way better than messing with a full lid when you’re on the go. Plus it’s easy to clean, which is always a win. Only downside is it’s still just a cap, so nothing fancy, but it does its job really well. If you already have a YETI Rambler, this is a no-brainer add-on 👍

This is my second time purchasing this lid. I love it. The seal is strong for both the lid and the cap. I buy these because I dislike having the part of my bottle where I put my mouth freely open to the word and its germs. No thank you to straws just out in the open, or flip lids where the mouth piece is just one stray sneeze away from grossness. This can be knocked over and tossed around without me feeling needing to sanitize the mouth piece before I drink. My first lasted many years before it started to have water leak through the cap. I think at some point the little rubber seal at the top of the cap got damaged or lost from me washing. I've always hand washed to keep the item away from extreme heat of the dishwasher and because I have hard water and rubber/silicon gets spotty in there. I have never put this in the dishwasher so can't comment on that. Its very easy to clean by hand and I feel confident I can clean every part of it. No hard to reach places or nooks and crannies needing special tools. My only con is that sometimes it seals too well and is tough to twist off the lid. If that happens I remove the cap first to get a better grip, and then thanks to the rubber wrapped around the rim of the lid I can get a secure grip and twist it open. Or if its the cap that gets stuck and you find the two pieces twisting open together, you just need to hold the rim of the lid directly to secure it and twist the cap, rather than holding only the bottle and twisting the cap.

I use this daily and makes staying hydrsted a breeze. The biggest issue with the ramblers the giant opening. This makes it so easy to drinking on the go without spilling it. Taking it on and off is a breeze but be careful not to over tighten it. If you doc luckily the rubberized lip of the clear piece is there to help you grip tightly to remove it. I tried a knockoff version before but should have just go straight to yeti on this one. Big fan!

I’ve bought three of these now. The threads don’t seem to last? I got my last one in April and it’s November now. My husband does drink an insane amount of water so it really could just be that it’s getting opened and closed soooo many times. But in a few months I’ll be being one again cause it’s perfect for what he needs!

Bought this replacement on 8th April 2025 and is already broke on 1st Nov 2025. The tracks for where the lid screws in peel up.

This chug cap fits perfectly on my YETI bottle and makes drinking on the go much easier. The build quality is excellent, and it seals tightly without leaks. A great addition to any YETI bottle.
