Legrand adorne 1-Gang Wall Plate (6, Magnesium) AWP1G2MG6-6PK

These Slate Linen wall plates in basically any form factor are nearly impossible to get ahold of right now. One of the fine folks at Flow Home named Nubia kept me updated on the progress of my three 1-gang wall plates flowed through the supply chain woes to finally arrive at my doorstep. I'm not someone who is going to ding a reseller for a global supply shortage; they maintained positive customer interaction, offering my choice of an immediate refund or a bit of a wait.I'm glad I waited, because these are precisely what I wanted for the master bath. Like anything else Adorne, these are well made and attractive.

Gorgeous light faceplate and easy to install! I love how it upgrades the look of the faceplate with the sleek matte gold look. We are using these in several rooms and they look stunning! Way better than the traditional plates that people have been using for years. Side note: I also really love the look and feel of the Legrand paddle switch with this plate.

this is a white plate. says white on the box. it’s sold as white. yet there is this very prominent black border that is extremely visible around the edge….this is stupidity in design.

I may be the only person in the world to make this mistake, but because of the picture, I expected to receive a black wall plate. If you’re looking for black, make sure to order the “black ink” version. I love the Legrand Adorne line, and have their white wall plates throughout my house. They’re sleek and easy to pop on and off. The graphite plate surprised me, because unlike the white plates, it is a matte finish, which I felt looked less classy.

I love the Adorne components and have so far installed gloss white. But I wanted to try this oak wall plate to see how it matched some unstained oak cabinets. Unfortunately, it's not a good match, but, as anyone who has ever tried to match wood stains knows, it's almost impossible based on a photo (or even with a sample chip). Also, while this isn't really a problem, either, you have to look closely to decide that it's real oak and not a good plastic imitation. So you might not feel it's worth the high price. Still, the Adorne components are really beautiful when used in a coherent design.

This is the best looking Adorne plate, but wow is it expensive, almost 8 times the price of the regular gloss white. Penciling out the cost for a living room is must before tackling installation. Once installed they look sharp, but the plate does limit access to the box behind it, making wire access a pain.

They finished this nicely. It sticks out a bit from the wall (more than traditional covers) but they finished the sides - they invert a bit where they come in contact with the wall. And they made the inverted part a darker color so as to sort of be "in the shadows" and less noticeable. I purchased Lichen Green. Love it, and when you have a fab looking switch why not highlight it? (my wall is white)

i’ve been redoing my house with these and been getting them at lowes. however when they were out i ordered a few on here. i think they’re really nice, easy to install, love how the outlets or switches clip into the frame. but the plates i ordered here are slightly loose on the frame where as my 10+ from lowes are tight. not sure why, not a deal breaker just something to be aware of.
