This is a good product. A little bit goes a long way and the bottle lasts forever! Hence, definitely a good deal ultimately. Don't pile it on, make sure to blend it. Also, give it a minute after application because it may appear a bit thick immediately after application, but then it somehow sinks into your skin, creating a smooth finish. I also put it on my neck and sparingly on my decolletage, as it smooths out and hides some sun damage. Make sure you get your correct shade, though. I did a little research on the internet to ascertain my correct shade (look at the company's website).

I purchased this product for help in the treatment of melasma. I am african American and post birth of my son now 1&1/2, still breastfeeding I have had persistent melasma in my smile lines. Most sunscreen on the market does not contain enough iron oxides protect against visible light, which worsens melasma and PIH in A.A skin, more than other ethnicities. Most tinted mineral sunscreens are formulated for fair skin. I am of deeper complexion and have had a hard time finding mineral sunscreen to suit my sensitive skin NC50-MAC . I was recommended the 85N in dermablend which is a little dark and red for my skin tone, but 60N was too light. I can have the best of both worlds without having to spend $30+ per ounce of tinted sunscreen for my skin. I use etude house sunscreen after letting actives and moisturizer set up. I apply my sunscreen and chase my toddler around while it sets up. I mix a drop of dermablend with more of the same sunscreen to make it tinted. Apply, and I have a tinted sunscreen as my "makeup layer" I would prefer to not have to wear any makeup, but due to melasma I have to wear something with iron oxides. This has been a staple in my daily routines it gives the look of no makeup, yet it blurs my melasma and beauty Mark's. Per my dermatologist applied this way won't ruin the integrity of my sunscreen, and I have the visible light protection I desperately need. Using this daily along with other actives and hats has helped tremendously. & chemical peels. ***this stuff is thick, I would not apply as foundation unless you like cake face. The bottle has the worst the squeeze nozzle. It does not pick up much product. The foundation is also very red toned for my skin, i am very yellow undertones, but since it is mixed in a white zinc oxide sunscreen it dissipates and blends seamlessly. This is pretty expensive for the tiny bottle but it stretches since it is pure pigments. Hope this helps.

Dermablend knows what they're doing when it comes to camouflage type makeups. I am a former camo makeup artist and long time melasma sufferer. These drops are so pigmented and the formula is so cosmetically smooth that anyone will look great in this foundation from beginner to pro. The finish is not matte but not satin and definitely not dewy. The coverage is truly buildable though you likely won't need to and a little (a drop) goes a loooong way. I mix a well shaken drop (paramount for this formula) with Elf's halo glow and I've also mixed a drop with moisturizer, rosehip seed oil, and with nothing else and it all worked. The coverage shmears (and feels) like a light weight foundation. It blends like a dream with fingers or a brush with no streaks. Note there is not a lot of play time as it sets quickly. Once it does, it doesn't budge. I've not had any transfer onto my clothing. You must shake this before each use. One star off because the dropper sometimes drop and sometimes doesn't and had I not thrown out the boxes, I may have returned as I don't know if that is the 'norm' for this product and wonder if mine is old or more likely, IS the norm but the delivery system isn't the best for this formulation. Still I do recommend for anyone with melasma, PIHP, redness, etc.

I researched and did my due diligence before I purchased this product. I’m a long-time, devoted consumer of Dermablend products. I currently, and for years, have used their loose powder and Liquid Camo concealer. This was not a blind step for me. After reading reviews of others, I determined my ideal shade and placed my order. It arrived, with the bottom of the box it came in, completely open. Not a big deal until I took the product out and attempted my first use. I followed the instructions on the box (which matched what I read on the Amazon site). The dropper that came with the product does not work. It will not “pick up” the product. The bottle also feels as if it is not full. I don’t have a scale, so I can’t weigh it to confirm this observation, but, it’s only an ounce and the bottle is 1/2 full. Add to that the dropper does not work. I like the product. It covers well. It’s not oily and blends well. I will simply order it directly from the Dermablend site next time. Yes, I’ll pay a little more, but, I’d rather pay a little more for the peace of mind that I’m not getting something that has possibly been used and half gone, and I’ll bet the dropper will be operable. Good product. Sketchy origins when ordering on Amazon.

The foundation is SO THICK. It will not even come out of the dropper so i just get it off the dropper stick. Not sure i will purchase another one. Very disappointed with this purchase.

This is the best full coverage makeup

Great invention and formula, better to mix it with a more moisturizing vehicle (instead of matte sunscreens) so that it blends in better to the skin. I’m an NC25 and N30 was a perfect shade for me. A single drop gives great coverage! Quite pricey though.

Dermablend est une excellent référence pour masquer les imperfections. Très couvrant et efficace, mais la teinte est effectivement très claire! Habituellement, les fonds de teints sont trop foncés pour ma peau claire de blonde. Je me suis trompée de couleur en choisissant cette teinte (la plus claire de la marque je crois) et c'est vraiment très, très clair. Je vais devoir utiliser ce produit dilué avec mon fond de teint habituel, plus adapté à ma couleur de peau. J'espère que le mélange marchera, ce n'est pas toujours le cas.
